Hey guys!

The GMs alongside the Entertainment mods have agreed to doing a remerge of UK and International TV, with the addition of a subforum to discuss TV from streaming services! I'm sure you'll all be able to see that it is ongoing at the moment but the new combined forum should be up and running shortly.

burbe, Froot/Klaus and Silas are going to continue to moderate this forum, however we want to say thank you to Pavel for his hard work in International TV. We really hope this move is a success!

Had a sneak peek at all of the plans for this in the Entertainment Mod Lounge and it's all very exciting! Hoping to make the most of the streaming services sub forum especially as there are so many good shows on Netflix that I haven't had the chance to see or discuss yet.

Thanks to Pavel for your work as an International TV mod these last few years as well

I hope everyone will agree with the mods that these changes are for the best. Very much pushing ourselves into the future with online streaming becoming such a dominant force in TV!

Very excited for this and the potential that it has to be a huge success. Definitely think it’s a wise idea, making it easier to discuss shows/the world of TV whilst adapting to the new format of TV!

So much happening today!! I didn't ever use either of those forums and will probably still never use the combined one but fair enough if y'all felt this was the right move

I think the principle of this is absolutely sound as Netflix etc is definitely where tv is most exciting these days but I find it weird that the 'future' is sort of shoved away as a sub-forum - it may just be me but I always think they are barely noticeable.

It being a main forum and being where Int TV was previously was the original plan! We were just uncertain how busy it would be and so we’re using the sub-forum as a sort of test atm. If it becomes fairly busy, I think it’ll be ‘upgraded’ to a main forum!
