Welcome Buzzjack to this, the inaugural edition of the Artist Forum Song Contest! It's been a long time coming but we're finally ready to start the voting! Over the past month, 18 artist forums have been busy selecting their entries for this contest's theme: Should've been a single.
The rules are pretty straight forward and will be familiar to the majority of us. Voting will be done in the traditional ESC method, that's

I hate Robbie Williams but my Mum used to listen to Escapology a lot and to this day, M&MM is still his only good song.

Of the artists I'm familiar with, all of them have decent choices except for Miley which is a HORRIBLE choice. Miley has so many amazing album tracks (mainly from The Time of Our Lives and particularly Can't Be Tamed) and her fans have chosen that

Great choices for Robbie Williams especially but also for Katy Perry, The Saturdays and Britney.
GA is the worst choice for me though. All these great album tracks on 'Tangled Up' (one of the best pop albums ever) and to a lesser extent 'Out of Control' and the very blah and boring 'On the Metro' gets selected 
. Who is responsible for this travesty

Most of these are terrible, especially that Beyonce and cheesy Rihanna one. Beyonce has Hello and Rihanna Love WT!!

I do agree Girl Overboard/Black Jacks/Close To Love would be better choices and may have done better but On The Metro is still an absolute stomper.

On the Metro is the perfect choice in my eyes because of what we got instead. The Tangled Up/OOC singles were all hits and are all SUPERB songs imo, and I wouldn't swap any given the chance, but the fact we got BCYLM (and such a half-arsed effort with it too) over On the Metro makes it the biggest missed opportunity for me.

sent mine, only my top 3 is like spot on choices... Madge, Sugababes, Beyonce, Gaga, Katy, Rihanna (wasn't Breakin' Dishes like single?) all have much better songs than the ones on the list

Leona's was not a fail. In 2009 OMH would've smashed the charts and probably might've prolonged her career a bit longer!
Listened through them and I think from what I can tell, most the choices were spot on/I can def see why they are deemed as "missed singles choices". A couple of "Would that really have done well?" But I expected that.
Lovely contest all around though!
