 Chart Commentary  Sticking at #1 for a second week, Matteo Markus Bok's Mrs Lonely becomes his second multi-week #1 out of his four chart-toppers to date. El Ritmo and Shallow only nabbed a single week each, while In the Middle held #1 for four weeks in total. Although Matteo has one less song in this week's top 10, down to three after This Christmas drops out, the mass exodus of Christmas hits has cleared the way for 16 new/re-entries, six of which belong to Matteo. El Ritmo and Just One Lie lead the way, re-entering for the first time each, while four other songs debut for the first time: - E' diventata primavera is new at #34. This was Matteo's very first single and the only one to date in Matteo's native language of English. - Miracle enters at #36. Hi Joseph, happy new year!
There seems to be quite a lot in your chart I haven't heard which is unusual  I wonder if that 5SOS/Julia song has a chance of taking off? Presumably its impact date is still a way off and it will be added to radio stations at some point. I wish Avril's new one could do something, I think I actually prefer it to Head Above Water! Let's hope the album does well although I have my doubts tbh  Little Mix and Rita Ora need to quickly move on to their next singles (assuming they are what they're rumoured to be) and capitalise on their continued pre-Christmas momentum. Can't actually believe just how poorly Zayn's album did, even considering the bad timing of its release, but There You Are was a definite highlight from it so it's good to see it sneak into your chart. Where he goes from here is anyone's guess  |

You clearly like this Matteo Markus Bok guy  Giving your #1 a listen now, it reminds me a bit of East 17 and I don't know whether that's a good thing or not  Giving Cry Like Kim K a listen now - that drop has DEFINITELY been used in another song but I'm not awake enough to remember which one it is  Interested to see where Fleur charts for you next week (if she indeed does) - Favourite thing is pretty good actually but the chorus does sound very football pop-chant-y! Great chart

  My favourite new entry of yours this week is actually the lowest one oops but yeah, very impressed by 'There You Are' after how nothingy ZAYN's recent output has been! Gives me more faith for this sophomore album, although the length of the track-list still seems like a right slog *_*Great stuff
