The original 'Male Stripper' (which is actually considerably faster than this ohmy.gif ) was in the charts at the same time as Steve Silk Hurley's Jack Your Body - February 1987 was quite a time for underground dance music in the charts with Raze's 'Jack The Groove' there too! Whilst the instrumental is brilliant, I don't like the lyrics of the original though which are rather mellow.gif , glad this new version cuts them out! laugh.gif

Yes this great, sometimes 8 minute + tracks are a bit long and dull, but this changes quite a bit throughout and goes on a journey so it is not boring.

Could do with a radio edit if it is to get more radio play though!

There's some remixes to come for this and I have to say the Illyus & Barrientos one is lush wub.gif

Also Robin Schulz played this at the festival I was at this weekend. I must say the full 8 minute version really does not entice an entire crowd kink.gif

Glad this now has a proper video, is A-List on Radio 1 and picking up traction on iTunes! But it desperately needs that Spotify push.

It would be quite something if this went official top 40! Doesn't really fit into any dance trend really, being different from the tech house that mostly dominates underground dance music at the minute.

Glad it has a video now too!
