The next and second official single is the song “Hey Everybody!“, which serves as the follow-up to the first show “She’s Kinda Hot“, released on July 17th.
The song was written by Calum Hood, Joel Madden, Benji Madden, Jordan Johnson, Stefan Johnson, Marcus Lomax and Clarence Coffee. It receives its first play during Capital FM morning show on Thursday October 8th.
The band are due to perform the track on Alan Carr: Chatty Man Stand Up 2 Cancer show on October 9th, the same day, the single will be released on digital retailers.

Title was reminding me of Dr Nick from The Simpsons initially, until I checked and his catchphrase is 'Hi Everybody!'. Close enough

The melody of the verses reminds of the melody of the verses of Duran Duran's "Hungry Like the Wolf".

I'm not really sold on this 
Their worst single to date for sure. The verses are definitely better than the chorus. Hoping it grows ~

It's an official sample, as much as some stans on Twitter would like to believe members of Duran Duran having writing credits on the song means they wrote with Calum but I'd like to see receipts if that happened.
I'm not loving it right now, it's just OK. But then single #2 from the last era ended up being the worst single and one of the weakest songs on the album so maybe this follows suit.

I really get the urge to hum that "do do do do do" part in the 'Hungry Like The Wolf' verses. 
As for this, it's nothing special at all. 'Don't Stop' was was easily their best so far.

Huge U-turn after the fantastic 'She's Kinda Hot'. The only selling point really is to go "do do do do do" after the verses!

I really like the song, I just thought "Permanent Vacation" was supposed to be the second single, unless that was just a rumor.

Really great video there, has made the song slightly click with me, hopefully it'll continue to grow cause right now this is their worst single by a mile

Much better than She's Kinda Hot, I feel that the chorus was a little weak though. Not sure if they'll do anything which matches the quality of She Looks So Perfect or even Don't Stop but I'll see
