This has been making an impact on the itunes chart. I think its a lovely song, with plenty of emotion especially in Nomcebo's vocal.

Been added to the Radio 1 playlist to my great surprise so hopefully this will be a hit in the UK. Like Paul Woolford/Diplo/Kareem Lomax Looking For Me it has an emotive vocal and I think its really fitting they have become popular in this emotional and difficult year.

Absolutely love this Sadly I think it’s too ‘foreign’ to make it in the U.K. chart. But if this happens, shock Aya Nakamura impact please

Yeah agreed most foreign language songs require at least parts of English in it or need to be heavily reliant on the production (see Mi Gente) to become UK chart hits.

This is already a UK chart hit - it's been top 100 for four weeks, climbing each week and currently at #68. Admittedly not a huge hit so far but it's showing pretty clear potential to become one, you'd think from the comments in here so far that it had made no impact at all
Not even the first song sung in an African language to go top 100 this year as Disclosure and Fatoumata Diawara's 'Douha (Mali Mali)' was also a minor hit. |
