So, we've finally arrived in Altyr after a long and tumultuous semi final process. Welcome one and all.
Some general housekeeping type stuff first. YOU MUST VOTE IN THE FINAL, failure to do so will result in a one month BAN from the contest, meaning you will miss the first contest of 2015 and be humiliated for much, much longer.

You are also now free to vote for the magical and utterly amazing Altyr Muunilinst entry, Sea Of Voices by Porter Robinson. Failure to do so will result in a one year ban from the contest and the transfer of all your points to the host nations tally, so think long and hard before you click send on that PM guys and gays.
In a short time period yet to be determined so as not to ruffle any of Doctor Bitch's feathers you will be able to find an MP3 pack containing all 31 songs HERE.
Y'all have until 23:59 on SUNDAY 16th NOVEMBER 2014 to vote. That is over 7 days, but under 8 days, closer to 8 though, just FYI.

I've voted! A very consistent final but nothing I absolutely LOVE this month. Still, I have a solid bunch of favourites so I'm wishing them all well.

Oh gosh the songs that have came through from semi 2 are so strong and a lot of semi 1 has grown on me too, finding voting v v hard this contest, my entire top 10 may end up all being a 9/10, gonna be so close eek

Plenty of stuff didn't appeal to me whatsoever but it was a real struggle once I cut it down to my 18 favourite tracks. My three commiserations were all 9/10s and would have got points in any other contest.

No, countries that aren't in the contest aren't even allowed to vote let alone required to! That's just saying that everyone who entered this contest must vote in the final even if they failed to qualify or else they will be banned from the next contest.

Semi 1 was so so much better than Semi 2, only three songs there made my votes in the end, one of the songs missing out was my 8 pointer in the semi! My top 3 were all wonderful discoveries, one of which from a country I've never given that high to before and one that I'm really hoping will win this.

There will be no extensions given, I deliberately made the final voting period longer after the issues with the semi final voting period, so by the time it closes you'll have had more than a week to vote. I am sorry, but this would stand for anyone, bar extremely extenuating circumstances.

Thought the deadline was tonight. Didn't need to squeeze in listening to everything after all.
Found it to be a very mediocre final. There were nine songs that I highlighted as 'want to vote for' but even these weren't of as good a standard as normal. Could've done with an injection of Sex O'clock

Very good final, had 20 songs i wanted to vote for after my first listen through. Managed to narrow it down eventually to create a stellar top 10.

Echo what others have said, this final is easily the strongest I've been in from recent memory. Really stressed about the results, have no idea what to expect for Kathaldazia I've got this feeling we will be like 31st for some reason
& v pissed that I voted so early, points would have been so different had I voted like now for example ugh

Really unpredictable contest on the cards tho I think you have it in the bag ketalina tbh, 'Just Kiddin' I feel is this contest's Grum, really being overestimated and Amanda Fondell should do a lot better than predicted and Florina but could go anyway people should be happy with top 20

'Sea of Voices' is good but reallly limp by Porter Robinson standards, and a very uninspired entry, the song's been out there since forever. I'd vote for it but I've heard it too death on radio and really cba listening to it again, I'm surprised the song never got vetoed, its parent album was terribly hyped up on the blogosphere and he's no stranger to the UK charts either

It actually only got a handful of veto points because the parent album hasn't been a hit in the UK, nor have any of the singles, his only well known hit here was years ago, the song had minimal presence on Buzzjack, most of which dated back about 6 months and almost all blog/online hype was similarly timed.
I entered it more as a chance to cap off the year by entering one of my favourite songs of the year to my own contest, it felt RIGHT. Also, whilst it is relatively uninspired, I dare say it was a discovery for more people than several of this months entries.

I don't think 'Sea Of Voices' was that uninspired an entry, Porter is not a big name in the grand scheme of things (as much as my rambling about 'Language' for about a year may have made him out to be, all he has to his name UK chart wise is a top 10 hit that was gone within a few weeks and another minor top 40 hit that went even quicker) and it's a fairly old song, maybe if it had been sent when it just came out it'd ring the cheap alarm bells but not so much several months later.

I just wished I'd capitalized on the opportunity earlier, 'Worlds' was one of my most hyped albums pre-release and one of my favorites after but I always imagined he would be vetoed.
