Linkin Park have announced a massive collection out on October 9th for the 20th anniversary of their debut album 'Hybrid Theory' and an unreleased track "She Couldn't" is out now!

"She Couldn't' sounds great. I can see why it didn't make it or fit in Hybrid Theory... though I think it's better than half of the album (it has great singles but I don't find it that memorable otherwise. Psybrid Theory is better).

I absolutely adore Hybrid Theory as an album, I can see why they left this off because the rest of it was so decidedly Nu Metal and yet it still captures their sound at the time perfectly. The vinyl scratches, the mixing on Mike's rapping, the guitar tone. Reminds me a bit of My December, bonus track off Hybrid Theory originally. Chester's voice is amazing of course- it's really beautiful here though (kinda rare to hear him sing falsetto like that). Now I'm just even more sad I'll never get to see them live.
