I thought "Love" was a massive seller but it has only spent like 13 weeks inside top 50.... was it a Xmas block-buster?
Shame Dua is pretty unlikely to score #1. It feels it was blocked like everywhere but still managed to score 10+ weeks inside top 5 |

Buble's album did okay but I suspect it's safely his lowest selling album. I think releasing it for the Christmas market instead of Mother's Day got it lost in the shuffle behind "Christmas", which took only 2 weeks to overtake it.
Those numbers are top 100 by the way, this is just its 9th week in the top 50. This post has been edited by Dircadirca: 19th February 2020, 11:36 AM |

Justin Bieber's "Intentions" climbs to the crazy heights of #3 ahead of predecessor "Yummy"'s #4 peak. Post Malone was just recently ousted with the longest running top 10 hit but now "Circles" is the equal 4th longest running top 10 hit on 25 weeks. It's also the only one of those 6 songs to reach that milestone without also peaking at #1. Billie Eilish has the highest debut of the week with the bizarrely capitalised "No Time To Die". To my knowledge, this is actually the highest charting James Bond theme ever. I only know "Skyfall", "Die Another Day", "Live and Let Die" and "A View To A Kill" also reaching the top 10, but they all peaked at #5 or #6. Coincidentally, this title comes along with a new entry from the previous Bond theme singer Sam Smith which also has the word 'Die' in the title. Most of the chart otherwise is littered with debuts from Justin Bieber & Tame Impala. The latter is noteworthy because last year's "Patience" brought Tame Impala up to 7 top 100 chart entries without ever reaching the top 50, tying the record Weezer set in 2009. Unlucky timing & circumstances with several singles since meant that they hadn't been back in the chart after that single, but now two of those singles finally get those dividends, plus some more tracks from the album, so "Breathe Deeper" has become Tame Impala's highest charting single, while they now have a record smashing 11 top 100 hits without a top 50. 2015's "The Less I Know The Better" is closer to charting that it has been in 4 years however, and if it polls well with triple j's Hottest 100 of the Decade next month, perhaps it's a chance to finally give a top 50 berth. Tame Impala & Justin Bieber make the main news on the album chart too, because they're literally the only new entries in the entire top 100. It also seemed like this might be a close race for the #1 spot, but in the end, Tame Impala sold over twice as much to secure back to back #1 albums, albeit with lower sales than "Currents". But instead let's have a laugh at Justin Bieber who only did about 10% as many sales as "Purpose", or closer to 4% if you don't count streams. This is Justin's first major project to miss the #1 spot, ie not counting the Christmas album or "Journals". Otherwise, there's a lot of climbing this week due to a Bushfire relief concert, most dividends going to Queen, but also Hilltop Hoods & Conrad Sewell rebound as well. Next week should be a little more busy on the new entry front but I'm safely assuming BTS will score a 2nd #1 album. Bad news for The Amity Affliction who otherwise might be picking up their 5th #1 album, but something must have happened to their friends. |

The Weeknd has been #1 for 6 weeks now with no sign of stopping. Dua Lipa has been #2 for 8 weeks now with no sign of stopping. "Circles" is now outright the 4th longest running top 10 hit (partly because it's still on Hot Hits Australia), and "Dance Monkey" is unsurprisingly still the longest running top 10 hit. Sadly, "After Hours" doesn't quite match the top 10 peak of its two predecessors and lands at #11. In classic ARIA shenanigans, Powfu's "death bed" which was poised to hit the top 50 this week has been outright removed from the chart, but will return next week, possibly around #30. BTS have their 2nd #1 album. They hold off the especially metal leaning competition this week, and I think it might be the first time there have been 3 metal albums in the top 4. It's unlucky for The Amity Affliction who miss out on #1 after their last 4 albums managed to hit the top spot. Perhaps it's a changing of the guard, as fellow local act Polaris score their highest chart entry to date at #3, but maybe it's not changing of the guard because Ozzy Osbourne is also scoring his highest chart entry to date at #4. Grimes also scores her first ever top 10 entry. If my mission is to dictate ARIA errors, then the latest is A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie's album being totally missing from the chart last week, and now entering on its 2nd week. Next week I have no idea what to expect, but maybe Five Finger Death Punch or Slowly Slowly will have the highest debut. |

It is difficult to come up with noteworthy milestones anymore given the circumstances. Perhaps they go to Dua Lipa whose 9 weeks at #2 is beaten I think only by "Moves Like Jagger" and "Starboy". Lady Gaga debuts at #7 with "Stupid Love" which outside of A Star Is Born, is amazingly her highest charting single since "The Edge Of Glory". It looks like it'll stay that way as it's dipping back on sales & streams. Doja Cat also scores her first top 10 hit with "Say So" which I suppose I should also say is Dr. Luke's first top 10 hit since "Locked Away" in 2015. "Circles" is still on Hot Hits Australia and helped by that, has now spent all 27 weeks of its chart run in the top 10. If it lasts another week, it'll be the 3rd longest runner outright, behind Post Malone's own "Circles", and "Dance Monkey" which remains perpetually 8 weeks ahead. After last week's shenanigans, Powfu is back on the chart with "death bed" which looks set to climb fast in the coming weeks. Actually it's a big week for TikTok in general with Ashe's "Moral Of The Story" and 24kGoldn's "CITY OF ANGELS" entering the top 50. This could continue depending on round 5 of whether ARIA have noticed a BENEE song on the rise as "Supalonely" should debut around the top 20 but was missing from the midweeks (this was true of Ashe last week so it's still possible she debuts). In a bleak turn of events, there are only 4 Australian songs in the top 50, and 3 of them are fairly ancient at this stage, while there doesn't appear to be anything poised to take over unless 5SOS can get over the top 50 Spotify hurdle. BTS have done the unthinkable and held at #1 for a second week in a row. Perhaps it's not *too* surprising as their previous album "Map Of The Soul - Persona" only dropped to #3 in its 2nd week, but it would have been amusing to see BTS have two #1 albums replaced by a return to #1 from Billie Eilish. Not that it actually could have happened this week because Five Finger Death Punch are seeing new heights with their latest album at #2. They have previously peaked at #3 & #4 in recent years. I'm also amazed that Tame Impala are still ahead of Justin Bieber. Also debuting in the top 10 this week is the debut album from Slowly Slowly. They're basically a late '10s alt rock band that sounds like a late '00s alt rock band, shit's crazy. Lil Baby has only previously just grazed the top 50 with his Gunna collab album, notably the hit song from that was never let on the chart so I'm kind of surprised that they're getting his streaming data accurate here, as he enters much higher at #20. Caribou's new album's pretty cool too. ARIA are dubbing next week's chart as a battle between Lil Uzi Vert, Lauv & BTS, but I wouldn't be surprised if Billie Eilish takes it by inertia. |

Business as increasingly unusual. We're well entrenched in March 2020 and most of the top 10 debuted in 2019. Funnily enough, "Circles" was finally ousted from the top 10 on Spotify partly due to..."The Less I Know The Better" by Tame Impala. triple j recently aired the Hottest 100 of the decade which saw the distinctly anti-Trevor anthem take the top spot over various other songs that also had the word 'Know' in their titles and/or choruses. This will create significant chart history because as I reported a manner of weeks ago, Tame Impala have never had a top 50 single, but now they're looking poised for a top 20 with their already triple platinum 2015 single. More on that later, we're also seeing new top 20 chart heights this week for BENEE, who probably should have debuted a week ago, but by ARIA's standards, I'll take what I can get. Amusingly, "Supalonely"'s vault in questionably organic popularity comes so late that it was already nearly voted into the Hottest 100 of 2019. It landed at #126 but I assume would be at least top 20 nowadays, so it is arguably the "Sweet Disposition" of the 2010s which makes a lot of sense out of context I'm sure. Speaking of Hottest 100 hits though, BROCKHAMPTON return to their exact #19 peak from before dua to the lipa remix. There's only one other top 50 entry and that's via Lil Uzi Vert where it seems "Baby Pluto" has won the lottery of his few singles that were running close to sneak into the top 50. It reminds me of how the only KIDS SEE GHOSTS song to hit the top 50 was "4th Dimension", but maybe "P2" could sneak in next week. Lil Uzi Vert also has a #1 album this week, meaning that he is more of an album artist than Radiohead. "Eternal Atake" may well be the #1 album that has sold the least pure copies in all of history, and it may take some time to be beaten as well. This is still a significant boost considering "Luv Is Rage" only got to #22. Also seeing a significant bolt up is Lauv, whose last album missed the top 50, but his latest enters up at #5. As for next week, we could see a new #1 courtesy of a compilation of the Bushfire relief concerts, while also in the running is Niall Horan & Ocean Grove. |

Dua Lipa is not #2 this week however, finally succumbing to declines, allowing Justin Bieber to be pulled up to a new peak of #2 by virtue of "Intentions" falling slower. There could be a bit of an interruption next week thanks in part to one of this week's new top 10 entries "Roses", which is riding crazy momentum this past week and should hit #2 probably. BENEE simultaneously scores her first top 10 hit and 2nd top 20 hit with "Supalonely" & "Glitter" both up a single place. The biggest news in the top 20 however is the return for Tame Impala's "The Less I Know The Better", which previously peaked at #66 4 years ago after landing at #4 in triple j's Hottest 100 of 2015. Time has proven it more popular than "Hoops", and in fact every other song as it was last week declared the top song of the entire decade, and gives a long awaited first time in the top 50 for Tame Impala. This means that Weezer regain their title for the most top 100 hits without a top 50. Just behind is the highest actual debut from Tones And I, with a career high debut of #18 and now 4 top 20 hits to her name, so please specify regions when you insistently declare one hit wonders a decade or so too early because we exist too. Flume was the artist with the most entries in aforementioned Hottest 100 last week, and he compliments it with a new top 50 entry in "The Difference", another contribution to the canon of unlikely indie chart crossovers with Toro y Moi featured on it. Noah Cyrus flukes a top 50 entry after many months of hovering outside, and YNW Melly scores his first due to more milking of Juice WRLD's legacy. He probably should have made the top 50 with "Murder On My Mind" but ARIA took too long to start counting it. Earlier this year, a charity show was held support victims of Australia's bushfire crisis. It's largely local acts but they did also manage to rope in internationals such as Queen, Michael Buble, Alice Cooper & Ronan Keating. Given the breadth performances, this compilation is rather truncated on just 2 discs. It does make for a wonderful turn of history though, because Jessica Mauboy is part of this compilation, and she notably had an unfortunately timed run in the charts back at the start of 2009, when her sole #1 hit "Burn" did so amidst another notorious bushfire crisis, leading to the song being pulled from a lot of radio stations the very week it hit #1, and making it drop right to #5 the week after. It's unfortunate for Niall Horan who cannot join former bandmates ZAYN & Harry Styles with a solo #1 album. His last album "Flicker" also debuted and peaked at #2, released the week after a new P!nk album. Perennial chart fixture Adam Brand scores his 6th top 10 album this week, his career high is still #4 from back in 2012. Ocean Grove score their 2nd top 10 album and another local country singer, Fanny Lumsden scores her first top 10 album. Next week is all about The Weeknd. There is a new Childish Gambino album but its unorthodox roll out means that I can't be sure it'll even appear on the chart. |

That's not surprising given the context but what might be surprising is that there's a serious challenge for the top spot from SAINt JHN, who is now #1 on both major streaming platforms, though it's pretty close across the board and might come down to the phantom paid/free streaming ratio differences. Powfu also jumps into the top 10 vying for top 5 next week. Absurdity continues as "Dance Monkey" has now spent 38 weeks in the top 10, she could make it to 9 months next week as I could see Halsey & Surfaces swapping places and leaving her be. A noteworthy Weeknd thing is that he only has 1 debut this week with "In Your Eyes". While you can never predict which albums will make a splash on the ARIA Chart, it seems that The Weeknd is being handled consistently with not allowing non-album tracks on the chart, as the same thing happened with "Starboy" a few years back. Maybe this was done to make it more clear that "In Your Eyes" intends to stick around and not get lumped in with the rest. Last week, country music legend Kenny Rogers passed away. He had a #1 hit with Dolly Parton on "Islands In The Stream" which you can imagine is likely to be found just below the top 50, but his best performance here is with "The Gambler", a song that has a strong connection to Australia ever since the 2006 Beaconsfield mile disaster. Two miners were trapped underground for weeks and one thing they did to pass the time was sing "The Gambler" to each other, as the only song both of them knew. It can be found in the iTunes top 300 roughly 80% of the time that I check, but this past week it shot to #1 by a mile to be the top digital track for the week. The Weeknd naturally takes the #1 spot, his 3rd #1 album after "Starboy" and "Beauty Behind The Madness". He leads a relatively busy week near the top 10. The Smith Street Band released a live album exclusively on Bandcamp and it nearly becomes their highest charting album ever at #4, their most recent studio album peaked at #3 in 2017. Adam Lambert was just in the country with Queen, and this week scores his 4th top 10 album. A posthumous Kenny Rogers entry denies Childish Gambino a top 10 with his sudden release of "3.15.20". Despite all his popularity over here, he's only ever charted as high as #9. Next week's chart could prove a significant battle, with new albums from perennial #1 scorers 5 Seconds Of Summer and Pearl Jam, while you can also expect Dua Lipa & Joyner Lucas to be somewhere in the mix. |

do you know if the charity album that Julia Stone put together (Songs for Australia) charted? I checked once and it was very high on iTunes album so I'm surprised that I cannot find it anywhere

In reality it's only on 10 weeks at #1, and that's put on pause as yes, for the 2nd time in the last 8 months, we have a new #1 hit. SAINt JHN wins a close battle to take "Roses" to the top, and it looks to be even closer between the two next week so I can't really call it. Dua Lipa simultaneously scores two new top 10 hits, with "Physical" reaping an album driven boost, and "Break My Heart" getting through on debut. "Don't Stop Now" is even higher so she has 3 in the top 10, though the latter 2 may slip out next week. It'll probably be the deciding factor on whether or not "Dance Monkey" can make a mammoth 40 weeks in the top 10, but if it drops out this week, it can at least stake the claim of a 9 month reign at 39 weeks. Megan Thee Stallion didn't quite crack the top 50 last year with "Hot Girl Summer", but she does so with gusto and with "Savage" this week, which looks likely to nestle into the top 20 this week. It's a good week for female rappers in general, as Doja Cat gets her 2nd top 50 hit, and fortunately not one produced by Dr. Luke. 5 Seconds Of Summer belatedly get their first new top 50 hit for 2020 with "Old Me" which had been lingering just outside the top 50 for a while, but reaps the benefits of the album release. PARTYNEXTDOOR collects his phonebook for another hit, and in the process, brings Rihanna back to the chart for the first time in 2 years. 5 Seconds Of Summer score their 4th #1 album this week with "CALM". My understanding from following stan Twitter is that people are very angry that they hit #1 in the UK, but very angry that they didn't hit #1 in the US, but I'm not sure where the jury stands here. For the time being, Dua Lipa joins the exclusive company of artists who have peaked at #2 on both the singles and albums chart. She may be able to snatch the #1 next week but will have to fend off new albums from Violent Soho & Kerser. Given their demographic, Pearl Jam might be able to pin their #3 debut on COVID-19, as "Gigaton" becomes their lowest debuting studio album outside of debut "Ten" at #3. Effectively, "Ten" and their 2006 self-titled are their only albums prior to miss #1 ("Pearl Jam" was misguidedly released on the same week as Tool's "10,000 Days"), with 8 #1's all up. By comparison, it's a relative victory for Australia's The Chats. They are what I would dub the first second wave dolewave band which I mostly just typed because it looks ridiculous but also makes perfect sense. This Australian 3 piece band's 2 minute odes to the absurdity of the Australian lifestyle has seen the praise of international rock stars, and most importantly, uncovered the democracy manifest guy. Joyner Lucas has spent the last 18 months dropping endless amounts of singles and constantly showing he still has object permanence when he plays peek-a-boo on New Music Friday more times than I can count. He matches Canada for what I think is his highest charting position anywhere in the world for his debut album at #9. |

The pendulum seems to be swinging back to The Weeknd though so I could see it reversing next week. In the midst of this, Drake is of course actually #1 on Spotify but too far back on other platforms to pose a threat. "Toosie Slide" is however his highest ever singles chart debut, tied with "Don't Matter To Me", two songs at least partially indebted to Michael Jackson. In an uneventful week otherwise, the top 10 is the same as last week. Of most interest is that "Dance Monkey" actually climbed(!) and now has sat at every top 10 position except for #6 in its 40 week run over the benchmark. It might be its last week though. Jack Harlow sees some big momentum lately to score his first top 50 hit, while DaBaby has his first as a lead artist following close calls with "Suge" and "BOP" and getting there via collabs with Post Malone & Camila Cabello (though the former never credited him on the chart for some reason). A little over 4 years ago, Violent Soho scored their first #1 album with their hotly tipped 4th album "WACO", and a little over a month ago, their track "Covered In Chrome" was named the 4th best song of the decade by triple j listeners. Now this week, the 'yeah' enthusiasts continue to terrorise boomers by scoring a 2nd #1 with "Everything Is A-OK". Dua Lipa is left stranded at #2 for a 2nd week in a row but she might be able to secure the rare 3rd week climb to #1 as I'm not sure there's any competition to stop her (unless The Strokes overperform). On the topic of not hitting #1, it's usually every November that I'm here to remind you that Kerser exists, except he seems to have moved his annual album releases to earlier in the year. His last album "Lifestyle" scored a career high #2, and this week he scores a 7th top 10 album with only a slight regression at #3. All Time Low have a tendency to just miss the top 10 as they do this week (though they have made it twice, as high as #4 in 2015). Sam Hunt & Thundercat score their first top 50 albums, albeit a lot closer than I'd have guessed if you asked me a couple years ago. |

Drake in spirit has his first full sales week but it's not enough to catch up and he'll probably only toosie slide down the chart from here. Surfaces' "Sunday Best" in the top 10 is a thing. It's otherwise a fairly uneventful week. JP Saxe gets his potato voice into the top 50 possibly thanks to people doing a "Born In The U.S.A." and not considering the full song beyond the title that betrays the 'aptness' of it. S1mba also gets his first top 50 entry which is interesting to me because that sort of UK afrobeat sound doesn't usually cross over to here, though I guess it arguably blew up here first. It's kind of rare that an album reaches #1 for the first time not on debut, and it's especially rare for it to happen for a studio album not tied to any commercial property (Christmas is one of those as well). Restricting it like that, I believe the last proper artist album to do so was Sam Smith's "In The Lonely Hour", which took 11 months to hit #1. So Dua Lipa belatedly scores her first #1 this week, although to say she climbed there is a bit inaccurate, as it's more a matter of dropping more slowly than her competition, making for one of the lowest selling weeks at #1 ever I imagine. Still, when I noted a couple weeks ago that she was among rare company of artists to peak at #2 on both charts, I have since thought up Khalid as an actual member of this club which she has now left. Behind all the climbing former #1s, the actual highest debut this week comes from Nightwish, who score their first ever top 10 album, which is only their 3rd to make the top 50. Tory Lanez has made a similar ascent just all contained within the time frame between Nightwish's top 50 entries, now scoring his first top 10 album. 9 years ago, The Strokes' comeback album "Angles" scored them their first ever #1, but now perhaps another victim of our dark timeline, "The New Abnormal" goes all the way down at #21 as their first album to miss the top 10. Next week we'll see what mass critical appraisal can for Fiona Apple who has yet to have a top 20 album, and what mass streaming numbers can do for DaBaby, but it does seem most likely that "Future Nostalgia" retains its #1 standing. It continues to be a close battle between the only two singles that seem to matter right now. The last song that mattered, "Dance Monkey" is now up to 41 weeks in the top 10, 10 weeks more than the next highest, though it's worth noting that Dua Lipa is making a strong claim with 25 weeks in the top 10. DaBaby wins a close battle with Sam Smith for the highest debut, and looks to win the war based on how they've tracked this week thus far. Also some sad Australian dude with a guitar is here. Speaking of which, Dean Lewis's "Be Alright" might return next week due to a quarantine TV concert, while Travis Scott should have some entries as well due to a non-quarantine virtual concert. Last month, The Smith Street Band entered with a live album in the top 5, priming their potential with an actual studio album. Their 5th does in fact become their first #1 hit. 6 months ago DaBaby just missed out on a top 10 entry with "Kirk", but now with less competition especially on the physical album side, "Blame It On Baby" gets him in the top 10 at #7. Also seeing new heights is Fiona Apple with her acclaimed 5th album. Casey Barnes is an Australian singer-songwriter who is not related to Jimmy Barnes. He was actually an 11th place finalist on the 7th and final season of Australian Idol, an auspicious ranking in my books, and in 2011 he had a charity driven top 50 hit single. His 5th album enters at #16 which is by far his highest charting position. I'm also obliged to say that Chillinit deliberately released his shiny green vinyl on April 20th and gets a big re-entry with it. Next week, it looks like a clean slate for Birds of Tokyo to score their 2nd #1 album, while as is a roughly monthly tradition, there's a new King Gizzard live album to land somewhere between #2 & #10 probably. |

I've heard This City on the radio an excessive amount lately but they only seem to play the Luca Schreiner Remix do you have any idea why? The remix is #17 on airplay but that version is missing from Spotify, iTunes and Apple Music charts altogether whereas the original is charting well on all platforms. It's the original thats charting anywhere else in the world too so I'm puzzled at why radio thinks this is the version to be supporting...
I'd suggest maybe it's them trying to liven up the radio by playing a crappy dance version of a relatively slow song but they certainly did NOT go by that when spamming Be Alright/Never Seen The Rain/any other slow-ish song. Its not like this is a pure piano ballad or something that is a slow song such as Calum Scott's Dancing On My Own, which I remember at the time the Tiesto Remix got a lot of plays for I assume the same reason. Edit: Similarly I just noticed that If The World Was Ending has a (Remix) tag next to it on the airplay chart, but doesn't specify what remix and I haven't heard it on the radio yet to confirm if it is in fact a remix version they are playing or it's just incorrectly tagged |

There's a precursor to this from when London Grammar's "Strong" was taking off from triple j, and top 40 radio instead started playing High Contrast's drum & bass remix so it fit in more. This was back when they played nearly everything at the top of the charts but nowadays I expect they would just pretend it doesn't exist So I guess this year they've started trying hard to find workarounds to having to play slow ballads. Despite being one of the biggest radio hits of last year, "Someone You Loved" was also pretty much completely replaced on Nova by a remix a couple months ago, I guess "Before You Go" is just up-tempo enough to avoid the same fate at the moment. Naturally, radio will eventually just become 50% ads, 50% brando re-interpreting old songs in his goofy voice. 04/05/2020 Singles 01 01 15 01 ROSES SAINt JHN 02 02 22 01 BLINDING LIGHTS The Weeknd 03 03 04 03 TOOSIE SLIDE Drake 04 NE 01 04 THE SCOTTS THE SCOTTS Travis Scott & Kid Cudi 05 05 10 05 DEATH BED Powfu 06 04 26 02 DON'T START NOW Dua Lipa 07 06 12 02 INTENTIONS Justin Bieber Feat. Nothing else can seem to come close to bothering them, as even Drake's mixtape release on the weekend only temporary squeaked over to the top spot on Spotify, but even that would keep him at #3. Travis Scott & Kid Cudi have both reached as high as #3 on the singles chart, it just happened almost a decade apart with "Memories" being Kid Cudi's only top 10 hit. Now he has two as "THE SCOTTS" enters at #4. Travis also returns to the top 50 with "SICKO MODE" and "HIGHEST IN THE ROOM", but perhaps most notable is the entrance for "goosebumps", a song which ARIA did not let on the chart in its prime, but would have charted at around #70-#80 probably (I also remember major Spotify playlists ignoring it at the time). The extent of this absurdity is that "goosebumps" is already triple platinum in its first week in the top 100. "Soaked" by BENEE in 2022? I can only hope. Juice WRLD has already guested on two new singles in 2020 that hit the top 50 but now "Righteous" is being billed as his first posthumous release and it's his 3rd ever highest charter at #15 (or 2nd because "Godzilla" apparently doesn't count). A few years ago I got to see Birds of Tokyo play a free show. It was perhaps the best time for me to see them because it was in support of their most recently released album "BRACE" which for my money is either their best or 2nd best album depending on how I weigh up its consistency compared to "Universes"'s soaring highs. Basically it was the last chance to see them before all their new stuff became setlist staples. They did however play "The Greatest Mistakes" close to 2 years before it was actually released. Anyway, as a follow up to their first #1 album, "BRACE" was something of an underperformance given its severe lack of radio hits, and it only reached #3. Despite this I'm quite certain it actually far outsold this new album on opening week, which sees them back at #1 thanks to not a lot of competition. Thus it's the 4th time in 5 weeks that an Australian band has debuted at #1 in front of Dua Lipa. Incidentally, last week's #1 from The Smith Street Band has vanished from the chart. Their last album spent 6 weeks in the top 50 so this might be a result of less casual support in the wake of the band's drama between these albums (but also the whole COVID situation is not helping Australian artists). The only other big debut this week is from Trivium who score their 6th top 10 album in a row, still yet to surpass the #4 peak of their first top 10, "Shogun" back in 2008. Next week is Drake's for the taking. |
