Another January, another Reshuffle EOY Chart, hopefully as I've avoided putting totals in the weekly scores, that the order will be somewhat more harder to guess. Other than that it's the same format, this year's chart has incorporated 52 weeks, in this time they have been 113 top 10 hits (41 less than last year! which have been rated by 1642 votes . These are their overall standings.
Obviously, the longer a song has spent in the OCC top ten, the more votes it gets to be higher on either end of the spectrum, this countdown will hopefully be over in January/February, and will run seperately from the main chart which will be posted as normal. Love these countdowns! Shame there's fewer and fewer top 10 hits each year now really...
I hope either Thinking Out Loud or Sugar comes last but probably will be See You Again considering how long that stuck around for. See another clear winner this year, though not quite to the same degree as the previous year. |

Ludactris - Baby 2011: Chris Brown - Yeah 3X 2012: One Direction - Little Things 2013: One Direction - Story Of My Life 2014: John Legend - All Of Me I'd say only 'Baby' was deserving of last place on this list, although I can understand 'All of Me' because it was Top 10 for aaaages which made it feel old really quick and 'Little Things' would probably be in the bottom heap for me too. 'Story of My Life', however, is one of 1D's best and should have been far away from the bottom. |

113. MAROON 5 - SUGAR (-763 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN:11 OCC PEAK: 7 (3wks) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 9 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 0 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 110 POSITIVE VOTES: 102 NEGATIVE VOTES: 269 RUN: 8-9-10-X-8-9-10-9-10-10-10-10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -69.3636 LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 52 Poor Maroon 5, they've dark-horsed their way to the bottom of the EOY for the first time. They have been in the bottom 10 before with "Payphone", but this is A) the largest minus score in a calendar year and B) The first of the bottom finishers to haven't received a single "+5". Oops. The song itself isn't THAT bad, but I can see why it's the bottom spot with inescapable airplay, and longevity whilst only delivering a mediocre love song. Payphone was worse tho. I can't say I'm displeased about Sugar coming last, I'm definitely glad it's not See You Again.

112. WIZ KHALIFA FT. CHARLIE PUTH - SEE YOU AGAIN (-717 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN:10 OCC PEAK: 1 (2wks) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 9 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 5 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 80 POSITIVE VOTES: 80 NEGATIVE VOTES: 261 RUN: 6-9-9-9-10-10-10-10-10-10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -71.7 LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 60 Wiz Khalifa manages to avoid the fate of his "Payphone" collaboraters this year, but not by much. The song started out with a mediocre week before plummeting to the bottom of the chart for the rest of its run. The track which SYA puts me most in mind of is "I'll Be Missing You", in the extent that both refer to a death and involve a rap and a R&B hook. Not that i'm saying it's as good as IBMY as the sentiment feels a lot stronger coming from a best friend and a spouse. However it feels churlish to attack it that much, as it holds a special place in the hearts of fans of both Paul Walker and The Fast & Furious franchise. Puth's vocals are to be commended on the track as well. This post has been edited by Leonardo: Jan 4 2016, 04:50 PM |

111. ED SHEERAN - THINKING OUT LOUD (-667 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 8 (IN 2015) OCC PEAK: 3 (2wks) IN 2015 RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 1 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 80 POSITIVE VOTES: 57 NEGATIVE VOTES: 220 RUN: 9-9-10-10-10-10-9-10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -83.375 LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 64 Yes, Thinking Out Loud manages to finish in the bottom 10 for two years on the trot, and even lower this year. TOL is indeed the first song to manage two appearances in the bottom 10. Perhaps Ed Sheeran isn't on popular on BuzzJack as the rest of the world, or maybe it falls under the same trappings as Sugar with it being a love song from the male perspective that was hammered by radio. Whatever the result Sheeran's ballad now ranks (combined with last year's total) as the lowest ranking song in the history of the Reshuffle chart with a whopping -912 points. Well at least he didn't get the worst of the year in either year, so it's at least got that. This post has been edited by Leonardo: Jan 4 2016, 04:50 PM |

110. SAM FELDT FT. KIMBERLEY ANNE - SHOW ME LOVE (-352 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 4 OCC PEAK: 4 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 2 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 40 POSITIVE VOTES: 25 NEGATIVE VOTES: 111 RUN: 10-10-10-10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -88 LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 21 As you can see from "Show Me Love"'s total the bottom three were by far the lowest scoring, so the rest of the bottom 10 may be less predictable. Although managing to last a month at the bottom of the Reshuffle chart should indicate that it perhaps wouldn't do well. This is the oh-so-unecessary cover of Robin S.' classic "Show Me Love" which has already been done to death and gained nothing from having the tempo slowed and an unoriginal tropical house production. However this type of songs tend to do well, in the charts for some reason, but I'm glad that this didn't replicate to success in the Reshuffle EOY. Thinking Out Loud being so low isn't surprising but it's disheartening for what is a really great song I think.

109. SAM SMITH - WRITING'S ON THE WALL (-348 POINTS) WEEKS IN TOP TEN: 6 OCC PEAK: 1 (1wk) RESHUFFLE AVERAGE POSITION: 10 AMOUNT OF 5's RECIEVED: 3 AMOUNT OF -5's RECIEVED: 43 POSITIVE VOTES: 43 NEGATIVE VOTES: 125 RUN: 10-10-9-X-9-10-10 AVERAGE WEEKLY SCORE -58 LEONARDO'S RATING OUT OF 100 55 When the new Bond film was being made it seemed inevitable that Sam Smith would do the recording following the success that Adele had with "Skyfall", and it seemed to work with Smith bagging the first James Bond theme #1. The critical and general reaction of the song was underwhelmed to say the least, but the most important statistic to remember is that "Skyfall" made the top 10 (#10 actually) in the 2012 YE list whilst "Writing's On The Wall" has finished in the bottom 10 of last year. Also, yes Sam Smith you can do falsetto, probably not the best idea for you to sing almost an entire ballad in it tho. This post has been edited by Leonardo: Jan 4 2016, 04:51 PM |

'Sugar' doesn't seem that offensive to me; it's nothing special and hung around too long, but other than that, it doesn't really inspire a reaction from me. I actually enjoyed 'See You Again' for a week or so until the overplay kicked in. 'Thinking Out Loud' and 'Show Me Love' are both horrific though and fully deserving of bottom 5.

I don't mind Sugar but I wouldn't choose to listen to it. See You Again is one of my least favourites of the year - Charlie Puth's vocals on it are so so so grating. But as you say, can't hate on it too much given the sentiment behind it.

This Ed Sheeran & Charlie Puth hate is DISGUSTING. To be even ahead of that Red Nose Day troll song?
