I think Justin will be fine, maybe even No.1 with the promo from the BRITS and Superbowl. With the right song(s) performed, he could do very well off the back of it. The Brits were fundamental to mirror being as successful as it was over here. Fingers crossed for Say Something. |

Tragic for Timbersnake, but oh so well deserved.

Any chances for Rudimental and Jess snatching #1 either this week or the next?

He's selling in huge numbers in the US so i dont think he minds just being top 3 in the UK... middling* numbers. When the top two results on google for the album are not about sales, but THIS, which btw is even worse press than Witness, "1.) 21 hours ago - 'It is embarrassing': Critics tear apart Justin Timberlake's 'baffling, vacuous' album Man Of The Woods, claiming the flop proves he is no longer worthy of pop superstar status. ... Justin Timberlake's new album is out, and the scathing reviews are in. Man Of The Woods, the former ..." 2.) "Is Justin Timberlake's New Album Really That Bad? An Investigation" He'll likely mind. Still, he had a good run, but pop stars don't last forever. |

Are mods going to let the chart prediction thread be overrun by the Justin hate. Am I really the only one unhappy about this. Funny that most your favourite artists would die for a top 2 UK album and no1 us...this hate is horrible.

do we have to keep comparing it with Witness just because both are albums which underperformed commercially and critically though?
by the way his songs got a 534% boost in sales in the US following his Super Bowl performance, and the album is projected to sell at least 300k first week, you can't say that's bad. |

Witness did 180k and Joanne did 201k, both without the Superbowl to help them.
The music industry has been VERY supportive of male singers these past two years too, so all in all those sales for a fanbase pop act, like any of those 3, aren't the best. You are reet tbh, a lot of my faves are flops these days :cheeseblock: Doesn't affect me much tbh, still love Bon Appetit etc |

P!nk did nearly 400k without SB!! |

Pink had the concert ticket bundle, also Witness had it. But still, JT's prediction went down after the SB so the boost didn't affect it as much as his past singles.

Katy Perry is an Embarrassment. Album was shocking. JT is smashing it and just about to do a massive worldwide hit tour. TALENT ALWAYS WINS

33 actually. I listened to it all the way through. That album flopped because it was awful, JT is not doing as well because of the hate surrounding him at the moment. Roulette was quite good but she can do a lot better and the last era was shocking. Hope she comes back stronger tbf.
Can you not do a personal attack please, I've been warned for that! This post has been edited by Lomadz: 6th February 2018, 07:10 PM |

I think that the general consensus in this thread is that, unless you’re Pink, your comebacks will always flop.
