I wonder if anyone realises that all except one of their Top 50 hits were cover versions.
Here they are:

Sweets For My Sweet - originally by The Drifters
Sweet Nuthin's - originally by Brenda Lee
Sugar & Spice - originally by Tony Hatch
Needles & Pins - originally by Jackie DeShannon
Don't Throw Your Love Away - originally by The Orlons
Someday We're Gonna Love Again - originally by Barbara Lewis
When You Walk In The Room - originally by Jackie DeShannon
Goodbye My Love - originally by Jimmy Hughes (titled Goodbye My Lover Goodbye)
He's Got No Love (their only non cover)
When I Get Home - originally by Bobby Darin
Take Me For What I'm Worth - originally by P.F. Sloan
Take It Or Leave It - originally by Rolling Stones
Have You Ever Loved Somebody - originally by The Hollies

according to Second Hand Songs, Sugar and Spice wasn't a cover either. Tony Hatch's instrumental recording wasn't till 1965.
