Last week Australian *icons* covered Tame Impala's Elephant for Triple J - and it's been released on streaming today! It's got the song proper stuck in my head this past week haha

We still don't know whether there would be a market for a tween equivalent of the Wiggles though!

Who are these Wiggles frauds? I only recognise the guy on the keyboard!
The cover is actually really good, I'm shook. |

Actually cannot get over the added doo doo doo doo parts, I'm probably going to think of that every time I hear the original now (which is quite something considering how much I played it at the time! )

Top 20 in the Hottest 100 of 2021 no doubt! And I may have put a bet on it being #1 to get me $60 return

Wow this is surprisingly good and doesn’t sound like a typical Wiggles song until they burst into Fruit Salad

Omg this is from a full album out on March 11th! 'ReWiggled' features two halves: one with Australian artists covering The Wiggles' songs, the other with The Wiggles (both old and new) covering others' songs!
An EP is already out now with 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'Pub Feed', 'D.O.R.O.T.H.Y.', 'Can You (Point Your Fingers and Do the Twist?)' and 'Elephant'. I'm particularly liking The Chats' punk cover! Tracklisting: Side 1 1. DZ Deathrays - Hot Potato 2. Spacey Jane - D.O.R.O.T.H.Y. (My Favourite Dinosaur) 3. Stella Donnelly - Ba Ba Da Bicycle Ride 4. The Chats - Can You (Point Your Fingers and Do the Twist?) 5. Emily Wurramura - Dressing Up 6. Polish Club - Apples and Bananas 7. Donny Benet - Sicily (I Want To Go) 8. San Cisco - H.O.L.I.D.A.Y 9. Custard - Do the Propella! 10. Emma Donovan & The Putbacks - Say the Dance, Do the Dance 11. Dami Im - Big Red Car 12. Luca Brasi - The Shimmie Shake! 13. Melbourne Ska Orchestra - We're All Fruit Salad! Side 2: The Wiggles 1. Elephant (triple j Like A Version) (Tame Impala) 2. Bohemian Rhapsody (Queen) 3. Umbrella (Rhianna) 4. Thunderstruck (AC/DC) 5. Pub Feed (The Chats) 6. Sunday Girl (Blondie) 7. Get On the Good Foot (James Brown) 8. Praise You (Fatboy Slim) 9. Brand New Key (Melanie) 10. She's a Rainbow (The Rolling Stones) 11. Live It Up (Mental As Anything) 12. Shipping Up to Boston (Dropkick Murphys) 13. Apple Crumble (Lime Cordiale) |

'Elephant' is #10 in the Australian singles chart this week! It's by far their highest ever charting single there, before this they only had a couple of singles reach #81 & #81 in 2003/4.
