America have these weird 18-49 figures as well which determine advertising rates or some such so viewing figures only equate to 50% of a show's success.
However just thought it'd be a good archive to have alongside the chart runs etc.

I will try and find viewing figures for E4 in the UK so if anybody has any to hand please post
Interestingly, viewing figures went through the roof when the show returned from hiatus, though this was attributed to it having American Idol as a lead in. However, the last two-three episodes all performed amazingly well without the reality hit's help and the fact that the show ended in the summer period where US viewing figures are crap.

Season 1 Achievements

1] Glee was the 33rd most watched show on American TV last season with 9.37 average viewers. It placed 33rd out of 124 shows on ABC, CBS, CW, NBC & FOX.
2] It placed 15th out the 124 shows when focusing on the Adult 18-34 demographics.
3] It was the 19th most watched scripted series [this excludes Reality TV or Sport].
4] It was Fox's 3rd most watched series behind House & American Idol.
5] It was the highest placing and most successful new series.
