QUOTE WITH NEW OPPORTUNITIES COME NEW CHALLENGES ON AN ALL-NEW "GLEE" TUESDAY, APRIL 29, ON FOX Legendary Actress Shirley MacLaine Guest-Stars Rachel jeopardizes her "Funny Girl" lead when she auditions for a television pilot. Meanwhile, Mercedes (guest star Amber Riley) tries to help get Santana in on her recording deal, and Blaine befriends an older, rich socialite (guest star Shirley MacLaine) in the all-new "Back-Up Plan" episode of GLEE airing Tuesday, April 29 (8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (GLE-518) (TV-14 D, L) "Wake Me Up" by Avicii [Rachel] "Doo Wop (That Thing)" by Lauryn Hill [Santana & Mercedes] "Story Of My Life" by One Direction [Kurt & Blaine] "Piece Of My Heart" by Erma Franklin [Blaine & June (Shirley MacLaine)] "The Rose" by Bette Midler [Rachel] Excited that they're doing 1D again but I wish Kurt wasn't involved. Interested to hear Rachel's cover of Avicii, I'd really like it if it was slowed down in the same way as her cover of Guetta's "Without You"! |

Story Of My Life would be a perfect Blaine solo, shame Kurt will be on it too Can't wait for Doo Wop (That Thing), The Rose and Wake Me Up!

I am quite excited for the Klaine duet, even if it is 1D!

Wake Me Up was just gorgeous! So reminiscent of Without You from season 3.
These past few episodes have been brilliant! |

Wake Me Up was just gorgeous! So reminiscent of Without You from season 3. Yes, so glad it was!! I really enjoyed this episode, moreso than any other episode in a while. The music was great and Santana and Mercedes were so good together on "Doo Wop". The stories just really worked, no silly STD plot (no Artie at all!) and yeah, easily the best episode they've done since moving to New York full-time. |
