Gotta say with 'Baby Shark', it's not for everyone (it's not even for me) but it's pretty avant-garde in terms of chart music.

It's nothing more than the modern equivalent of Bob The Builder/Teletubbies which were big songs about 20 years ago, really. Silly kids song which got very popular for being silly and catchy.

It's disappointing to see Mark and Miley struggling so much on Spotify, I'm guessing #3 will be it's overall peak which is a good result but at the same time a little bit disappointing considering the incredible start it made in the charts. Hopefully it will move up on playlists and go back top 5 on Spotify next week.

*.* seriously hoping Zara can continue climbing and manage to snatch top 10 this week.

Play is absolutely AWFUL. Horrific doesn’t cover it.

It should smash though as they have the Hots Hits Cover, Vertical video right at the top and song #11.

"Play" is essentially just Jax on auto-pilot, it's a shame because he used to be so consistent.

Play is far from awful but it's his weakest single so far, it feels like he's losing his magic. Though it'd be impossible to better the perfection that is You Don't Know Me anyhow, he did follow that up with two other 10/10 songs.

I actually really like 'Play', here for it to finally give Y&Y another big hit that I actually enjoy. Think it's probably my 2nd fave Jax Jones single after 'Breathe'.

I feel like he set the bar so high with 'You Don't Know Me', 'Instruction' and 'Breathe' that he can't quite match it with 'Play' but it's still an anthem and better than a lot of stuff around right now.

I'm just glad it's not another 'Ring Ring', I don't quite know where he went so badly wrong with that one.
