For f***s sake how unlucky can Elise Christie get with crashing out yet again in the 1500m short track speed-skating semi final! Don't see how she got penalised.

Almost unbearable to watch Elise Christie crash out in the speed skating - must be one of the unluckiest people in sport.

Congratulations to Izzy Atkin who won bronze in the women's ski slope style for GB. Our 2nd medal in 2 days and GB's first ever medal in the ski.

INCREDIBLE run from Lizzy Yarnold, that was intense to watch. But we have a gold now, a defending champion for the first time, and a third bronze (well done Laura Deas too)! What an event to finally catch watching live. *.*

yay Izzy as well. Britain shaping itself up.

Amazing feat for Yarnold and a wonderful leap to bronze from Dea there as well, was rather brilliant I happened to catch that live *. Such a shame for Christie, hopefully she at least finishes her last event (if she's even able to compete :x) as that must be crushing sad.gif

Looking quite good for us in women's Curling as they've beaten Denmark and China and could be fighting for a semi final place (I've still never watched that sport all the way through, I'm still trying to work out what it exactly is :'))

A montage of Elise Christie at the Winter Olympics set to the Primitives Crash needs to happen!

Great for Yarnold!

That last run from Lizzy was sensational, to break the track record to win on the final run have to feel for Flock. Terrific bronze from Deas. The first time we've had someone defend an Winter Olympic title, the first time we've had two in the Top3 in the same event and the most medals GB have won in one day.

The 11th gold medal GB have won at the Winter Olympics. Lizzy twice. Who can name the other 9 for a bit of fun?

There's still quite a lot. Next up is James Woods in Ski Slopestyle tomorrow morning. Many World Cup and X-Games podiums, and even some Golds. Before the Games most experts rated him a better chance than Izzy Atkin.

I could think of Torville & Dean and that Curling Team and that's about it!

Oh and did Robin Cousins win gold too?

Much appreciate you doing the medal table for us, Iz. Thanks.

Would like to see Finland hopefully win a gold sometime soon.

It was tragic to read what happened to John Curry who won gold in 1976. Only 44 when he passed away.

Btw did anyone else see snowboarder Ester Ledecka win gold in the skiing Super G? An astonishing performance, especially from a complete outsider!

Yes, it was fantastic! The American broadcast didn't even show it at first, after the Austrian skiier was done they assumed she would win gold and moved on to figure skating...only for Ester to take the lead on the very next run so they had to go back to Super G and show it. Everybody's reactions were priceless heehee.gif

Gut wenching for James Woods as he finishes 4th in the men's ski slope style.
