Marina's first 2 albums were excellent and the singles from "FROOT" were good too, particularly the title track. I also liked "Disconnect". I'm looking forward to this.

i cannot fathom how anybody could hate ‘froot’ and be a marina fan; it holds so much as a record, like it was the full realisation of marina as an artist; the singles were superb and it’s such a well rounded listen...

Electra heart was the best album followed by the debut album. Half of the last album was good.

Marina was talking on Clean Bandit's Instagram story yesterday and gave some info about her new album.
She said it's her favourite record that she's written and that there are two (loose yet universal) themes running throughout it. She also sang a bit of a new song (apparently called "Handmade Heaven") - listen from 1:17 below: I have to say that I really haven't been interested or invested in her as an artist since 'The Family Jewels' but "Baby" has gotten me quite excited to hear what she comes up with next! Listening back to 'Electra Heart' and 'Froot', I definitely slept on her a lot during those campaigns so I'm going to have to make sure I revisit them a bit more to tide myself over for M4. |

She muttered to Scott Mills in her interview on the chart show that the first single is coming in January! Not long to wait! And the album should come in summer.
