Sugababes and Girls Aloud both did very well to be fair. They both had great longevity and impressive sales considering the slump in singles sales during the height of their popularity. Girls Aloud were a more prolific touring act but Sugababes achieved more success out of the UK. I think both were fantastic girl groups for the 2000s. I was more of a "loon" for Girls Aloud but I was a really big fan of the Sugababes too. I never really understood or appreciated the rivalry between the two sets of fans! I agree tbh, both groups success should be celebrated not often the UK can has girl groups that achieve what both groups have! It riles me mostly how little people appreciate Spice Girls these days though, I hope in time their Greatest Hits does like ABBA does now |

Well, didn't that Witch Cheryl "666" FOUL call her sister her mom?
Maybe she's just getting even... to bad she didn't go at her with her car while drinking. |

Either way you look at it, I know Amelle isn't in the spotlight right now as such, it's just not professional either way it's awkward really.

When will a Sugababe have the relevance to be hated so much?
And can someone change the thread to correctly spell Cheryl's name? Thanks. x (And before an MKS loon jumps at me, I BOUGHT Amelle's 'Summertime' so I'm not a hater here to stir shit, just defending one of my favourite artists). |

This is like the perfect embodiment of Amelle's career. Everything about this tweet is so stinky. First of all, I think it is ugly when female popstars diss other female popstars for no reason at all and out of nowhere. Cheryl was first a X Factor judge six years ago, Amelle and Cheryl both worked together on a single, both groups were friendly to each other, and now years later she goes on about Cheryl not deserving to be a X Factor judge and not being able to sing? Right, ok. Oh and the whole "I won't name her *WINK WINK* cause I like to throw shade but you know who I am talking about" is so childish. She could at least have addressed her directly. Anyway, the IRONY of Amelle judging what the X Factor should be about, surely her solo career wouldn't be a debacle if she had a clue what it is about to be a decent popstar. How many hits has she contributed to in her career? Being featured on "About you now" is probably the only thing she is remembered for, other than the stinky headlines. On a side note, I don't get how some people can still be so much into the whole SB VS GA thing in 2014. Both groups emerged well over a decade ago, how can you not get tired of the comparisons and the catfights? I was sometimes harsh on the babes at the time, but eventually I realised it was pointless. Both groups released amazing music and we should be happy they both existed. History proved there was room for both groups. Time to move on. Hindsight's such a great thing when two girlbands as great as these were dominating.
I was always more of an Alouder but I did adore both, I kind of miss them being around. |
