7 newies, well 8 if you count Benny Benassi, he is at #40 with Paradise, not a climber from last week's mids but a climber from last Friday's chart
wonder how many will hold on? dangerous for Pink/Little Mix as they're not top 200 on Spotify... |

What the hell is that Madonna album? Lumineers coming for that 1-20 drop, Disappointed to see All Saints as low as #20 already.

What the hell is that Madonna album? The Madonna thing is due to Record Store Day. Same with the Bowie album that's top 10. Turns out the Madonna album was a rare Japan-only EP from 1984, guessing it has been released here for the first time. |

Yes for Man (Gang), Panda & Middle all entering! Have very high hopes for the latter 2 climbing even as streaming on their side

Whilst it was always inevitable, All Saints' collosal drop is still sad to see.

So Calum Scott's managed to make the top 40 this week after failing to make the top 100 first time round a few weeks ago. Rick Astley still nowhere to be seen? Looks like he was pushed out of the top 100 last week due to streaming.

Oh I do wish Faded was bigger than it is currently still top 10 stability is alright.
I think Hair is at a comfortable position considering the quality of the song. It's not my favourite but it's ok. Really growing into the P!nk song now, the chorus reminds me of something else, Hall of Fame? No Money would do well to hit the top 20 This post has been edited by Mrs. Spadams: 19th April 2016, 04:47 PM |

PJ has gone from selling 600 copies on Sunday to 1.1k on Monday - I hope that at least stays the same or, even better, increases, as that would put her on track for a slightly nicer end of week sale of ~13k, which is much more preferable to just over 10k.

I'm wondering if the hype around Sia's Coachella performance could potentially push her up to a new peak (albumwise) this week?

Yes yesterday was a good day for PJ Harvey, maybe all the stories and publicity of her being on course for her first number 1 have generated some additional Sales. I think we can safely say now that Sales of the number 1 Album this week will be better than last week. |

I guess album sales are generally higher on Mondays than Sundays due to longer store opening times, but maybe a lot of people are still stuck in the habit of having a look at the new releases first thing each week on a Monday instead of on a Friday, especially as new DVDs still come out on Monday so it saves going to the shop twice.
Anyway, I'm happy for PJ, though I guess the album will be lucky to stay top 15 next week. |

By the way, All Saints are now at #19 in the mids, up from yesterday's #20.
