My number 1 artist of the Decade. They were my top artist of 2017, 2018 & 2019 (3 Years running!!!)
Shout Out To My Ex is my 4th most played song of the Decade. It would have been 3rd if I didn't keep Lisa Scott-Lee - Electric streaming overnight back in 2016 to try and get it to chart for Buzzjack's 10th anniversary (So SOTME would have been #1 of 2016 I assume - maybe)
Here's where they featured in my 2016, 2017 & 2018 "Top Songs" Playlists.
2016:
01. Shout Out To My Ex > ?? - Decade says Electric is #1 - which is believable as I was streaming over night lol <
06. Secret Love Song (feat. Jason Derulo)
10. Secret Love Song (Pt. II)
16. No More Sad Songs
22. You Gotta Not
35. Power
47. Hair (feat. Sean Paul)
52. Touch
---
2017:
03. No More Sad Songs (feat. Machine Gun Kelly)
04. Reggaeton Lento (w/ CNCO)
06. Touch
13. Power (feat. Stormzy)
32. Oops (feat. Charlie Puth)
39. No More Sad Songs
93. Shout Out To My Ex - Recorded at Spotify Studios
---
2018:
08. Only You (w/ Cheat Codes)
21. Woman Like Me (feat. Nicki Minaj)
32. Is Your Love Enough?
- Being my number 1 artist of 2018 but "only" having 3 entries in top 100 (Justin Timberlake and Ariana had more in the top 100 ).. I think it's because I wasn't cherry picking from LM5 as much until the new year (hence the influx of LM5 tracks in this years top songs) and was listening to the album as a whole.
- Only You is so underrated.
They ranked as my #1 artist of 2018 and 3rd of the decade behind Ariana and The xx! They had these songs in my 2019 list:
25. Strip (feat. Sharaya J)
36. Joan of Arc
40. Wasabi
My lists are just... bizarre. Like you Jonjo, they're my most listened to artist of every year + obviously decade, but barely any of their tracks actually feature in my top 100.
2019:
18. Only You
36. Reggaeton Lento
40. Think About Us
61. Bounce Back
62. Only You [Wideboys Remix]
(Only You being so iconic that it features twice).
2017:
17. Reggaeton Lento
36. Touch
2016:
19. Hair
Literally 0 tracks of theirs in 2018. Not even WLM?! Although perhaps understandable given that it was released in October. No SOTME, Power, or even NMSS in any capacity gobsmacks me since they all feature on my gym playlist which I hammer pretty much every summer.
I'm such a flop stan. No wonder their Spotify figures are often lacklustre.
3rd of 2019 • 4th of Decade
2019 Songs:
25. Bounce Back
62. Motivate
98. Forget You Not
