 Breakdown of the week - Saturday and Sunday: Information on Twitter from MintRoyale only. Please do not make requests, we do not have any information other than what's posted. - Monday: OCC Top 100 + Radio 1 Chart Update 5:30pm to 5:45pm. - Tuesday: Top 40 update as and when we receive them with requests, this is NOT 100% guaranteed however. The OCC may publish sales flashes of their own accord but likewise, this is not guaranteed. Twitter and social media is your friend for today. Please post any information you find with a source. Do not nag for updates, we will post a top 40 update if we receive one. - Wednesday: Top 40 update from Music Week from 5:45, and potential top 5 sales but this is not guaranteed. - Thursday: See Tuesday. Other notes (please read) - You may make requests Tuesday to Thursday but outside the top 40, specific positions will not be revealed (unless deemed necessary by a mod). - Please do not demand a midweek update, one will be posted as and when we receive the information. Interesting to note with Don't Matter To Me & Three Lions in the top 5 there, last time there was a #2 debut that featured Michael Jackson as a guest, Three Lions was spending the last week of its original run in the top 40

I'm assuming 3 Lions won't be the 1342 #1, as its not a new version, World in Motion should be credited England/New Order, I think that's a mistake by OCC.
For anyone that can't wait for the position of NHS Voices its at #47, full chart will be up later online. Great to see the new album by Years & Years at #1, but I think TGS will re-take it.

It does look as though these new rules keeping Three Lions on ACR will prevent it from going back to No.1, unless England win on Weds and get another shot in the arm on downloads. Thursday streaming is meaningless so another bumper day there wouldn't make any difference as it will be based on an average of the week. Of course, this will be to its advantage if we lose as nobody will then be streaming it Thurs and it will look as though loads of people have

The OCC website is tracking against the original 1996 release. I had thought it was re-issued in 2006 due to the chart rules at the time, but maybe I'm remembering wrong - in this instance I'd consider it to be the 1342nd number 1 if it makes it, otherwise it's a return to the top for the 740th number 1 and surely the biggest gap in returning to number 1 ever, and its third stint at number 1 (for the original release). Fourth stint if you include the 98 version, which they do in combining sales!
