I accidentally voted for 30-39k but I think they'll do about 40-45k.

62,000 was massively overestimating laugh.gif

Just looked through old sales and last quarter most big acts failed to even sell this in the run up to Christmas.

Going from sales last year and this year I think 45/50k overall.

I voted 50-59k as I am fully confident their "buzz" is back after the last year or so. I also don't think a "smash hit" is necessary, look at their very competition for that day, Kylie hasn't had a smash hit in ages and still her albums sell.

Whenever there's a tour or an album Little Mix always pull through very well.

With the sales climate taken into consideration I wouldn't be mad with a 45-50k number either, as long as it's #1, I can't see them being lower than that.

What are people thinking now that lockdown 2.0 starts tomorrow in regards to first week sales? Will this affect Confetti’s first week sales? I hope they can still do at least 40k

Lockdown won't make any difference really: a few lost Hmv and tiny record shop sales but that's it.

It'll make more of a difference for Kylie than it would for LM imo. As I've said before, unless supermarkets are stocking different versions of the album, a lot more of Kylie's fanbase were buying a version of each format available during the Golden/Step Back In Time eras than LM fanbase were buying the 3 versions of LM5 for example.

However, I genuinely think Kylie's label will discount her stuff on her website more than LM label are likely to. sad.gif

I would have gone for 30-39k I think. I am glad that I would have been proved wrong.
