Tom Kay next, looking to follow up and impressive top 10 debut last time out with Frida. Not a bad start as Eva is just a couple of places off the top 10. A 15 for Strange Talk sees it extend its lead to 16 points and it's now just one off being the first song to reach 100 points. Fenech-Soler is back in the top 3, Paris Angels into the top 10 and 20 points for Ultramariini lift it from the bottom into the top 20, leaving Autre Ne Veut in last. |

Damn I wish I had been around (ie old enough to enjoy stuff) in the late 80s/early 90s... I really liked Paris Angels, and one of my favourite discoveries of the last contest was Goodbye Horses Edit: Of course, that's a bit obvious now... |

Nothing like a bit of early nineties, pre-Suede, indie. The only time I saw them they were supported by a band called Laverne and Shirley who were one of the worst bands I've ever seen. Their "drum kit" consisted of an upturned biscuit tin which fell off the stand part way through. I kid you not. Brilliant. You just don't get that kind of genius amateurism these days |

Glad to see I am above that dreck Krause. I will be soooo disappointed if Colder finish below that.

I've tried searching for Laverne & Shirley on YouTube, but so far all I've come up is the TV show. For everyone's sake, I assume that they never reached the stage of getting a record deal?

If Semi Precious Weapons can, why not? Then again I guess that they weren't friends with the Lady Gaga of the time. I guess that was Paula Abdul?

First time competitor Titty is next, and points to 9 of the top 10 see them pull away from the rest. Strange Talk's lead increases slightly over Grouplove and Fenech-Soler, Magenta Skycode move into the top 5 and Paris Angels are moving back towards where they started. 12 for Gallops move it from second bottom to within a point of the top 20. |

Thomsen is up next, following up a 3rd place last time well, as Magenta Skycode currently sits in 5th. Strange Talk are a full vote ahead of second now as Grouplove climb back above Fenech-Soler and it becomes the second song to hit the 100 point barrier. A 20 for Young Galaxy sees it climb into the top 5 and El Guincho gets a much needed lift at the bottom. |

I Love Tony. He always seems to like my entries!
Cover Your Tracks is amazing and should be top 3 at least. This post has been edited by Thomsen: 13th January 2011, 09:12 PM |

SKOB up next, whose Ultramariini has recovered from a slow start with a couple of high pointers. 15 for Grouplove sees the lead halved, whilst Fenech-Soler and Young Galaxy pass 100 points, with the latter really starting to close in on the top 3. Another set of votes giving points to a lot of the top 10, the songs towards the top 5 continue to pull away. |
