SPINNING ADAM'S TOP 40 CHART COUNTDOWN - 07/04/15
Hello all, I've decided to do a Sunday Chart Show style chart this week, seeing I have the time to do it today and thought it would be different and fun! I will start the countdown on 4PM tonight, starting from #40 and going to #1 up to 7PM. I will also be playing each song starting from #20 at 5PM on plug.dj! I will also post the chart as normal in the main thread Last Week's #1 Lost Frequencies - Are You With Me (Kungs Remix) [14-5-14>6] Last Saturday's chart saw the 2nd week at #1 for Are You With Me. Its sound is quite comparable to Robin Schulz, particularly Prayer In C, so no wonder it's been a Spinning Adam fave! LAST WEEK'S CHART LarsM's Lovers, currently my favourite track of the year retreated back to #2 after its 1.5 weeks at #3, while Raindrops returned to #3 and Melody climbed into the top 5 to #4 from #8 on its 2nd week. Tropic Love climbed a measley one place to #6. Other notable changes include QT's Hey QT which climbed up 3 to #15 in half a week, as well as a new entry from Runaway at #18. Want To Want Me rebounded to #30 but could it make another rapid climb this week? Bills made a half week climb up 8 from #39 to #31, and the other new entry, Alesso's slow burner Cool entered at #40. Do any of these have a top 10 chance this week?
DROPOUTS Could either of these redeem themselves after leaving last week?
Possible New/Re-Entries This Week As anyone familiar with my chart will now, I regularly update this list of what I predict will impact my chart in the coming weeks. There are occasionally surprises, but here's the current list:
So who will be crowned a Spinning Adam #1 this week, and what tracks do you think will debut? Predict away, the chart will begin counting down from #40 at 4PM, with the Top 20 at 5PM on plug.dj! |

#36-#40
40. (28) I'm An Albatraoz - AronChupa [14-7-4-54-7-4-6-5-64-7-93-13-13-18-21-28-40>25] After spending 12.5 weeks in the chart and 3.5 non-consecutive weeks in the top 5, I'm An Albatraoz falls a rapid 12 places this week to #40. 39. (37) Rihanna, Kanye West & Paul McCartney - FourFiveSeconds (The Him Remix) [36-38-33-32-37-39>6] The Him's remix of the somewhat boring comeback from Rihanna and co spends its 3rd week in the top 40. It falls down 2 places to #39 today. 38. (35) Tough Love - So Freakin' Tight [40-x-38-35-35-38>5] The somewhat quirky and catchy tune So Freakin' Tight falls down 3 places to #38 on its 2.5th week, after spending 1 week at its peak of #35. 37. (27) Calvin Harris ft. Ellie Goulding - Outside [25-17-12-7-4-15-25-44-3-2-3-43-3-4-5-8-8-13-14-16-17-19-22-19-20-24-24-26-27-37>43] Another big faller, Outside falls down 10 to #37 this week. It spent 2.5 weeks at #1 and a whopping 12 weeks in the top 5! Overall it spends its 21.5th week today. 36. (36) Martin Garrix ft. Usher - Don't Look Down [37-36-36>3] Martin Garrix's latest track Don't Look Down spends its 1.5th weeks at its peak of #36, being held off by 5 new entries above it |

#31-#35
35. (New) Watermat & TAI - Frequency [35>1] The lowest new entry this week is Bullit star Watermat who's teamed up with TAI to bring Frequency at #35. Quite a catchy beat and love the sound effects Watermat used in Bullit 34. (34) Fred V & Grafix - Major Happy #BJSC Trifoski [35-30-27-28-28-34-34>7] A non-mover at #34 is a feel good track submitted my the Trifoski country for last month's BJSC LXIII. It spends its 3.5th weeks after peaking at #27. 33. (30) Jason Derulo - Want To Want Me [33-38-30-33>4] After its rebound to a new peak of #30 last Saturday, Jason Derulo's latest track falls a not too shabby 3 places to #33 this week, now spending 2 weeks in the chart. 32. (23) Avicii - The Nights [9-111-2-3-3-4-3-2-5-6-8-8-7-8-11-17-22-21-19-20-22-23-32>33] Holding the record for most weeks at the top (5.5) and now on its 16.5th week, dance producing genius falls down an unfortunate 9 places to #32. Can his next release make it to this week's chart? 31. (25) Calvin Harris ft. HAIM - Pray To God [29-x-36-32-25-24-26-23-24-25-23-25-26-27-25-31>15] A fair slow burner after debuting at #29, dropping out for half a week and re-entering at #36 after the chart's extension to a top 40, Pray To God eventually peaked at #23, and then again 1.5 weeks later. It has had a fair run for its peak spending 7.5 weeks without reaching the top 20, but can it re-enter the top 30? |

#26-#30
30. (24) Chris Brown & Tyga - Ayo [26-24-20-16-14-11-9-8-9-10-9-7-8-10-12-19-23-22-21-23-25-24-30>23] Still sounding fresh after 11.5 weeks, the sequel to the very catchy Loyal falls down to #30 this week. 29. (31) LunchMoney Lewis - Bills [39-31-29>3] On its 1.5th week, the hilarious and quite catchy Bills climbs, and repeaks to #29. 28. (20) Years & Years - King [29-23-15-10-9-113-13-12-11-13-12-11-11-12-13-16-20-28>19] A quite impressive run for King, whom has spent only 1 week in the top 10, peaking at #9, yet spent 3 non-consecutive weeks at #11! It falls down a hefty 8 places to #28 today after 9.5 weeks. 27. (New) Michael Calfan - Treasured Soul [27>1] Another new fresh dance track, Treasured Soul debuts at #27. It's doing well on pre-orders so I'm hoping it makes the top 10 officially 26. (29) Max Elto - 'Somebody Like You #BJSC Aquafina [40-39-31-32-31-33-29-26>8] Finishing at 3rd place in the BJSC LXIII Final, and deservedly so, is the track Somebody Like You submitted by Lee Wallace's Aquafina country. It gets better every listen! |

#25-#21
25. (21) Taylor Swift - Style [25-37-33-26-32-30-25-25-21-19-22-22-24-21-25>15] The latest charting single from the Shake It Off queen which isn't going out of Style just yet, as it spends its 7.5th week falling to #25. It has so far peaked at #19. 24. (22) Ellie Goulding - Love Me Like You Do [22-11-6-1-1-23-3-7-7-53-7-9-11-12-17-14-16-17-22-24>24] The 50 Shades Of Grey track falls only two places this week, on its 12th week, and has peaked at #1 for a full week.. 23. (26) Zedd ft. Selena Gomez - I Want You To Know [35-26-21-15-15-18-17-18-16-21-23-26-23>13] Making a surprising climb this week is Zedd's latest track, up 3 to #23. It peaked at #15 for a full week and spends a 6.5th week in the chart. 22. (19) LarsM - Squirrel [19-14-12-11-11-13-14-13-18-16-15-14-15-19-22>15] One of the first tracks I have heard from LarsM, I found this when discovering a "fake" Avicii track titled Avicii & Nicky Romero - RaveWave. For a while I fell for this title until I found out in the comments it was by Larsm - Squirrel. It was also my very first BJSC entry, which DNQ'd at #19, which was still a good result for a dance instrumental track 21. (14) LarsM - The Patriot [3-4-4-33-55-7-7-6-10-14-21>15] Making a big fall down 7 to #21 is the second highest peaking LarsM track, The Patriot (#3) which spent 5.5 weeks in the top 5. It drops out of the top 20 for the first time on only its 7.5th week. I find it quite comparable to Avicii & David Guetta's Sunshine, which I abosolutely adore! |

Commerical 1 of 2
NEW TRACK - LarsM - Eladiera The latest track from my favourite lesser known artist. It reminds me of Forbidden Voices and Lovers with a beautiful melody so it's likely to do well on my chart! |

19. (New) NERVO - It Feels
[19>1] Female dance duo NERVO who had a two top 40 hits last year and the previous year with Nicky Romero on Like Home and Revolution with R3hab and Ommet Uzcan, they are back with a new track, and it sounds amazing. I predict this will climb up more in the coming weeks! |

17. (New) Mr. Probz - Nothing Really Matters (Afrojack Remix)
[17>1] Afrojack is back with the vocalist from the #1 smash of last year Waves by Mr. Probz which Robin Schulz remixed. It sounds very good, from both artists, but I haven't checked the original yet This post has been edited by Šþinniŋğ Åđɑм: 7th April 2015, 04:17 PM |

This peaked at #15 for 1 week on its 11th week and is currently staying at #16. This post has been edited by Šþinniŋğ Åđɑм: 7th April 2015, 04:39 PM |

[38-38-26-10-8-8-9-8-9-9-8>11] Call Me Maybe 2012 hit and Canadian pop star Carly Rae Jepsen is back, and I must like it enough for it to repeak to #8 this week, after 5.5 weeks and 4 weeks in the top 10. |
