Well, technically it's Prince - Purple Rain which had 19 weeks in 2001, but I've yet to redo my charts for that year as I was boycotting the radio at the time for reasons I've forgotten
Anyway, since 2006 when I started posting my charts on BuzzJack (and one from 2005 that I can easily remember): 2005/6 Mary J Blige - Be Without You // 8 weeks 2006 The Raconteurs - Steady As She Goes // 5 weeks Christina Aguilera - Ain't No Other Man // 7 weeks Scissor Sisters - I Don't Feel Like Dancin' // 7 weeks 2007 Rihanna - Umbrella // 6 weeks Sugababes - Change // 5 weeks 2008 Goldfrapp - A&E // 7 weeks Katy Perry is a likely addition to that list seeing as she has 3 weeks under her belt already and is set to return to #1 in the next couple of weeks Other than that I just change my #1 every week |
