Vampire Weekend have broken a record on my chart today, becoming the first ever artists to occupy all of the top three positions here This means that 'Capricorn' stays at the top for a third week (subsequently becoming my joint longest ever #1 single) and pre-album singles 'Mary Boone' & 'Classical' rise to new peaks of #2 and #3 respectively. Vampire Weekend manage to land a whopping NINE entries (poor, brave 'Pravda being the only song from 'Only God Was Above Us' not charting). Olivia Rodrigo also succeeds in a week dominated by Ezra Koenig + co by scoring her first top 10 single here with the irresistible 'so american'!
