On Friday P!nk's first album in 5 years is FINALLY released.
Her albums whilst all have sold well and stayed on the charts for a while only one has managed to go to number 1; do people think that Beautiful Trauma will be her second? Looking at releases she doesn't have much competition so hopefully she'll get there. I'm confident she will as I can't see Liam's second week troubling her too much and her fanbase should be enough for the biggest female debut this year so far |

I think yes, we'll have a number one album from her next week! Liam will obviously slump in sales to 20-30k maybe, it's easily outdoable, especially with a smash that 'What About Us' was.

She'll manage at least 40k - 50k in the first week so dont think this should be an issue!

Quite easily I'd say. Real question is how much will she sell.

Guaranteed. Her last album opened on like 80k and I could see this one managing more

Main competition will come from Robert Plant who I can see opening on 30k+, think Pink will get the #1 spot comfortably though.
My prediction: 1. Pink 2. Robert Plant 3. Liam Gallagher 4. Beck 5. Ed Sheeran Top 10 entries from St. Vincent and Squeeze entirely possible as well. It is great to see 80s Artists such as Squeeze challenging for Top 10 almost every week at the moment. |

I hope this goes to 1! How much did Katy Perry Witness sell in her first week?

Personally I believe WAU has been a much bigger hit than CTTR and i have a feeling it will pase it and providing nothing massive comes along and liam Gallagher's drop in week 2 is to below 20k she should do it no sweat

Its pre-orders seemed to have been really good (currently #2 on the Amazon Music Best Sellers list, behind Liam Gallagher). I can see her achieving 70/80k sales.

I say she'll easily get her second #1. You go girl! |

Thought Pink would have a huge album since I heard WAU and with broad support from adult and youth stations she could sell around 80-100k first week and with the gift buying season coming good promo could mean the sky's the limit for the album imho.

Mint Royale has tweeted 'Easy number 1' for Pink, sounds promising based on early Sales figures but he has been known to get it wrong in the past.

"What About Us" has been a big hit and is still #2 on the airplay chart. I think it'll be an easy #1 album for her. Wouldn't be surprised if she does 100k+.

I think some are overestimating the sales here. The market was much healthier 5 years ago and she only sold 78k then. This will be no.1 but I can't see it near 100k.

"What About Us" has been a bigger hit than "Blow Me (One Last Kiss)" and the album is being released a month later than her previous. Granted album sales are low, but its pre-orders were very promising. I'm expecting around 60-80k, but it has a chance of 100k+. Will be interesting to see what the figures will be on monday or tomorrow if we get any info! |

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was a little lower, like 45-50k.
Even that would be three times as much as Katy shifted. What About Us has been huge but the albums market has divebombed since 2012. Would love to be proved wrong though as her eternal revelance is something to be admired. |
