5. Name a best animated feature winner. The closest we got to everyone getting a correct answer! Unfortunately Toy Story was released 6 years before this Academy Award occurred so is a wrong answer! Really you did well here if you didn't answer a Pixar movie, with WALL.E (the 2nd best Pixar movie)/Brave/Ratatouille all scoring pointless and the likes of Toy Story 3 and Up weren't even answered! Also other pointless answers you could have had were Wallace and Gromit Movie and I think maybe The Simpsons Movie. The very underrated Rango and Lotti's fave Shrek picked up a point each- no surprise Lotti going for the latter of those 2 movies! Buzzjack favourite Finding Nemo scored a couple of points along with one of my favourite films of all time, the beautiful and joyous Happy Feet which I'm so happy won Best Animated Feature! Though Happy Feet Two was even better but most people seem to hate it And of course my obsession Frozen picks up 3 points and finally gives Bre, Dobbo and Dan a non -21 for the first time since the 2nd question, well for Bre the first time the whole game! Though maybe going for Frozen stuff wasn't the best idea, as we'll see with the next question POINTLESS: 0: WALL.E- Chez Wombat 0: Brave- Josh 0: Ratatouille- Haus 0: Big Hero 6- Jahq 1: Spirited Away- Joe, Richie 1: Rango- Acidburn, HarryEzra 1: Shrek- Mack, Lotti 2: Finding Nemo- Jonjo, Jade, Oliver 2: Happy Feet- Ultraviolence1989, Burbe, Alex! 3: Frozen- Dobbo, NotFurlong, Bre, Dan 21: Toy Story- Regina |

Trusted 'Ratatouille' always does well on Pointless in this forum because no one can ever be bothered to find the correct spelling and type it out Oops can't use it anymore now the secret is out~

6. Name an original song that was nominated at both the Oscars and the Golden Globes this decade. Queen Idina ruling over everyone *.* More on that later! Quite a few pointless answers here including the surprisingly bearable John Legend track, a Nelson Mandela tribute and a nominee from this years ceremony. Then the next 3 picked up a lot of points from everyone, the quite bland Suddenly from the epic Les Miserables and Adele's stunning bonb theme Skyfall both picked up 3 points and Queen Idina rules once again as Let It Go, e.g. the 2nd best song of all time, scores a big 5 points from 6 people answering it. More wrong answers again: Down To Earth was from 2008 so is not this decade and Masterpiece actually won the Golden Globe but wasn't nominated for an Oscar because it was ineligible as it wasn't in the movie or the first credit song. I never knew that until this game POINTLESS: 0: Coming Home (Country Song)- Ultraviolence1989 0: Simple Song #3 (Youth)- Josh 0: Glory (Selma)- Jahq 0: Ordinary Love (U2)- Burbe 0: I See The Light (Tangled)- Regina 3: Suddenly (Les Miserables)- Joe, Acidburn, Jade, Lotti 3: Skyfall (Skyfall)- HarryEzra, Bre, Haus, Oliver 5: Let It Go (Frozen)- Dobbo, Jonjo, Chez Wombat, NotFurlong, Mack, Dan 21: Down To Earth (WALL.E)- Alex! 21: Masterpiece (Madonna)- Richie |

Trusted 'Ratatouille' always does well on Pointless in this forum because no one can ever be bothered to find the correct spelling and type it out Oops can't use it anymore now the secret is out~ Or because it's the 2nd worst Pixar movie so everyone wants to forget it Results will continue from either 20:15 or 20:30 as going to eat in a few minutes. Hope you can all still be here then and we'll get through those 5 questions pretty quick! Please comment on the above ones Also warning now: Question 7 is a bloodbath, only 5 people are immune from getting high points on this question |

I honestly thought I'd be doing a lot better than this. Two Family Fortunes wins and I'm flopping so hard.

Yay, not doing tok badly so far surprisingly. Had never heard of Deborah Kerr so that's always a good one to go with. Brave seems so forgettable too so I'm glad that paid off, I like the movie but it really only won for the technicalities of Merida's hair.

Ah, question seven. Just ended up going with the obvious answer because I didn't want to be on the borderline and then get maximum points added.. We'll see!

Currently at work so can't comment here much. But I lnew 'Let Ot Go' would be a popular answer, so I don't mind letting it sliiiide. But I hope I am one of the 5... I don't think anyone expected this one, really.
