HAIM should easily be able to take the number one album I'd have thought, and Jessie, while not quite being in contention for number one, should definitely be in with a chance to get her highest peak (she needs to beat #5).

I wonder if CeeLo Green has any chance of going Top 40 with his album? His last one only managed #43 but I gave the album a listen yesterday and it's pretty good.

Hopefully it will but since once big(ish) names like Labrinth and Example have missed the Top 100 with their new albums recently, I guess it won't be a huge shock if it doesn't

For what it's worth, CeeLo doesn't have physicals out until August. Was only #66 on iTunes on Friday, and has now dropped out the top 1500 entirely.

When was the last time UK had a female top 2? This week might actually be all female top 3 if Gaga is the biggest "old" album there.

Just checked the 1st week sales x Haim...
37K for their debut in 2013 in a famous chart battle were they pipped Justin Timberlake and 18K for their sophomore in 2017 and these are the 1st week sales x Jessie Ware, very regular but much lower than Haim... her 1st opened with 9K in 2012 her 2nd album opened with 10K in 2014 the last Jessie Ware opened with 8K in 2017 |
