Welcome ladies, each week I will be making predictions based on ratings and my own intuition on whether a show will survive to the next tv season or not. As the season doesn't official start until next week only 4 shows started this week just gone, 2 returning comedies and 2 new dramas.

First up was New Girl.

The once big hit for the FOX network struggled a lot last season not even the post Super-bowl could stop the downturn in ratings. It started the season with a 2.9 rating but fell to a 1.2 for the finale, that is a drop of 59% across the season. This season it started with a 1.7 rating an improvement on the last original aired but if the ratings drop like last year it could see the show take a dive to a 0.7. This all gives New Girl a 50% chance of renewal at the moment.

Mindy Project had an okay year last time looking at the grand scheme of things, dropping from a 1.9 to a 1.3 across the season a 32% drop. But the third season premier only managed a 1.3 but with a similar drop in ratings like last year it could end the season on a 0.9 this together with only one more season before syndication should secure it's renewal. I think Mindy has a 76% chance of getting renewed at this moment.

See my predictions on the new shows later tonight.

Mindy didn't get a 22/24 episode order for Season 3 it only got 12 or maybe 15 so it is at least 2 seasons after this one away from syndication levels.

I suspect the short episode order (with the bad ratings) means the end of Mindy this time round. It was very lucky it has lots of RICH FANS to get it this far.

They should have held it for mid-season, as they usually do for short seasons. But, yeah I think it's a goner.

Lol flop me. But there's still a chance they could order more episodes.

I've decided to change how I do this so will save The Mysteries of Laura and Red Band Society for next Saturday.
