Will you be watching?
Not to be for Lindsay Vonn as she crashed in the Super G, quite a nasty crash but finished in her own time. Shame to see a career possibly end like that with Vonn retiring after this World Championships.
A horrible way for her to end her career, the crash looked awful. Glad she got back up on her feet and made it to the bottom.
Also I can't believe how YOUNG Michaela Shiffrin is, feels like she's been around for years!
Vonn won bronze in the women's downhill in her final race.
Gosh did she actually compete in her final race Not caught up that far yet, kudos to her I guess!
Norway's Henrik Kristoffersen wins the gold medal in the giant slalom at the 2019 World Championships, clinching the top spot by just 0.20 seconds.
(bear with me I'm about 15 days behind in this)
The Alpine Combined was a great race to watch, I've seen races before where the winner of the slalom won the whole thing but not this time, although it was nice to see Remy hold off pretty much everyone else and go from 29th in the Downhill to 5th overall with the best slalom performance.
It does annoy me how so many riders just use the downhill as a practise for the official downhill without any intention of doing the slalom though, it takes away from the race a bit.
Marcel Hirscher took gold in Men's slalom, leading an Austrian 1-2-3 clean medal sweep. Dave Ryding put in good performance for team GB coming from 20th after 1st run to finish 9th overall.
Sadly, Ski Sunday finished on Sunday night so presumably no more winter sports coverage on BBC until 2020 now. Shame.
FINALLY caught up with this, the Austrian clean sweep was certainly impressive and great to see Ryding so high as well. Glad Sweden FINALLY got a medal with Anna Swenn Larsson in the slalom as well, was looking pretty miserable for the host nation up until then!
