Hope Perrie can get a great debut!
Might get a Mark Ronson reset along with Amy's 'Tears Dry On Their Own' and 'Back To Black'.
Alongside the albums mentioned we have the physical releases for Beyoncé and Benson Boone, think Beyonce might be back at number one
Maybe Amy could challenge in the album chart as well.
15 mins to First Look!
Hoping to see Sabrina, perrie and Dua As high as possible tonight!
20 Future, Metro Boomin & Kendrick Lamar - Like That
19 NewEra - Birds in the Sky
18 David Guetta & OneRepublic - I Don't Wanna Wait
Ew ew ew
Absolute war crime of a track
How's it in the top 20 ffs
Sorry I really like this x
17 Mark Ambor - Belong Together
This is alright tbh, on paper it sounds one I’d absolutely love (a la stick season, scared to start) etc but I’m not loving it yet, do like it though
16 The Blessed Madonna feat. Clementine Douglas - Happier
15 Dua Lipa - Training Season
14 Michael Marcagi - Scared to Start
I reckon Perrie at 6, Dua at 9 and Sabrina at 11.
If Perrie has sold good physicals wouldn’t be surprised if she is top 5 on first look maybe even top 3?
13 Ella Henderson feat. Rudimental - Alibi
12 Noah Kahan - Stick Season
11 Sabrina Carpenter - Espresso
Espresso will definitely climb into the top 10.
Sabrina it’s far from her best, but it’s such a bop and so summery! Hope it can go top 10 for her
10 Ariana Grande - we can't be friends (wait for your love)
9 Dasha - Austin
They are getting through the chart very quickly - playing number 9 and its only just 6.25.
Happy Austin made the top 10 last week, hope it keeps climbing!
8 Dua Lipa - Illusion
Illusion is a bop from Dua, I love the last minute or so especially! Excited for the album too
Not bad for Dua considering no physicals.
7 Perrie - Forget About Us
Can’t believe that Sabrina Carpenter of all people will probably finish the week as the highest new entry
I'd say it looks like physicals haven't been counted for Perrie yet love that it's off to a good start though, such a great song
6 Oasis - Supersonic
It's had a 30th anniversary 7" release!
'Supersonic'? Wow!
Oh wow! Been re-issued for its 30th anniversary
Bizarre to hear this but great song
Oasis coming for a new peak lmao!
Yay Perrie, now dispatch the physicals!!
Floppie Edwards outsold by a 30 year old track oops. x
I'll be surprised if Oasis stay Top 30 for a new peak, but let's hope so!
30 years is not a long time ago for some of us !!
Bye djo
5 Artemas - i like the way you kiss me
Hopefully perrie sends out physicals to get higher, wow at the oasis track, but I do remember hearing about the vinyl reissue. I wonder how high it’ll end up
Wonder of djo will be reset with his cassettes out this week. Could be a tyla situation where it’s reset the week it’s meant to go and stays top 10 (though I believe hers was manual cos for the Travis Scott remix as I’m pretty sure it did nothing on streaming to warrant an automatic one )
4 Teddy Swims - Lose Control
Worst song 2024 teddy swims good job not cd single smash tiny pice by now
I hope oasis can stay top 40.
3 Beyoncé - TEXAS HOLD 'EM
Def think Artemas will overtake teddy this week
Artemas needs to leapfrog above this crap from Teddy Swims and Beyonce with extreme haste.
Are Joseph Boone think 2
Beyoncé potentially keeping to #1, #3 and #9 only
2 Benson Boone - Beautiful Things
1 Hozier - Too Sweet
Love the Hozier track great to see it at No.1
Hozier!
I hope the re-appearance of Supersonic in the charts helps it to gain an appearance on Now 118 seeing as Live Forever re-appeared on Now 99 because it was performed at the BRITs
I was hoping Perrie would be higher.
Come on Perrie, you need to dispatch the physicals right now if you wanna stay into the top 10 (maybe the top 5 !).

It goes without saying that Supersonic is the best record in tonight's chart !!!
New peak for Supersonic please and a reset too
Having physicals for a single and not releasing them in the first week makes no sense at all. Only logic would be some thought it’d take away streaming so delaying the first few days but nobody else has ever done that
Unwritten finally outside the top 20 (for now). And no new Future & Metro Boomin tracks, fortunately.
A bit unimpressed by Espresso, even though I'm a fan of Sabrina. Dua delivers quality, as always.
And Djo's gone.
How is Perrie above Dua and Sabrina when they’ve both outdone her on Spotify? Are we sure the physicals haven’t already been counted?
So Perrie is at 7, wonder if she'll stay top 10...Leigh-Anne peaked at #11 didn't she.
Curious to see what Jade comes with, potentially the biggest of the band...
Perrie really needs to get her physicals shipped. If she did she could have a shot at top 5.
They haven't released Perrie's music video yet? Seems odd considering that they showed a preview of it on Jonathan Ross which means that it's already complete?
Agreed holding back the physicals beyond first week hype is actually a wise decision in this case which could get it another week in the upper reigons. They have probably seen and reflected on the 4-18 and 11-52 drops of Jesy and LeAnn.
was gonna same the same, I'd rather 4-34 than 22-23
pretty sure they'll send the physicals this week,
they've been announced for ages so sure they're ready to go
Really difficult to call the order today for Sabrina, Dua and Perrie.

Cool to see English Teacher at #6 in the albums *.*
I read that there was a new Did you know that there's a tunnel under Ocean Blvd vinyl variant coming out (festival edition) so I assume that's why Lana is back.
Why's Maggie Rogers there twice?
Totally had no idea The Feeling had a new album out!
Who the hell is/are English Teacher?!
Wow at James taking an early lead, though it probably won't last if there's only 3k in it. Would be cool for them to finally get a #1 studio album though, they definitely deserve one by now.
That's a terrible start for The Feeling, although their last two albums missed the top 40 too so I guess they just don't have much of a fanbase these days compared to other bands of their ilk/era.
English Teacher, slay !
No one seems to care about The Feeling anymore, which is sad as they're still quite a good band.
Climb Amy climb.
No idea who James is. A strange mononym to have.
Will be interesting to see where Perrie is at…
Bey should be #3 on albums with the physicals in stores.
I bought that Linkin Park album the other day. A good collection, especially as they never licensed any material to Now or Hits albums so I owned very little of their stuff.
Could hang around a bit lower down as they didn't have a previous hits album and all of the streams of their classics will be attached to it.
wow 14.5 for James is great, think they could easily hold on!
James were one of the greatest British bands of the 90s, their hit Sit Down is a classic
Hoping all of Perrie, Dua & Sabrina can stay in the Top 10, preferably with Sabrina on top!
Could be pretty close between James and Beyoncé for the #1 album then, and seems Future & Metro would have been blocked again even if they did repeat the sales of their first collab.
Nice surprise to see English Teacher so high! (@ Mango they're an indie/post-punk band who I believe have been supported a lot by 6Music, probably best known on BuzzJack for the (brilliant) song 'R&B' which was sent to BJSC a couple of months ago).
Has Unwritten avoided ACR?
I thought Mark Knopfler might have been more of a challenger for #1 - great improvement on his 2018 album though which peaked at #17 and bought to an end his run of 5 Top 10 albums.
The demise of Oasis helping all the pop girls climb a place.
Hope Maggie Rogers can stay top 20!
Good that the top 10 is having a slight clearout... shame though Teddy Swims and a couple of others are still there though
I think James will be alright - they just announced a signing in London for tomorrow.
Perrie rising!!
Hopefully Top 10 is secure for her!
Teddy keeping Artemas from getting any higher (and Beyoncé too)
Who is Sabrina??? She's not that one who dang Mr bloody Potato Head is she?! She's an absolute piece of work
James deserve the #1 album
they managed a #1 album with a Greatest Hits in the 90s but
with studio albums they've got 4 albums peaking at #2 and 3 albums at #3
so they kinda deserve the #1
Doesn't really sound like a Driver's Licence response tbh. It's too breezy and summery
Who said it was a response? Also why would she respond to a 3 year old song?
Might be quite close for the #1 in the album chart this week then! Beyoncé up ~2.5k sales from last week's Monday update. She'll likely end the week with ~20-25k.
Great start for Perrie, Dua & Sabrina, although it'll likely be reverse order come Friday. Dua/Perrie will likley fall out of the top 10 come Friday with Sabrina rising.
Cmon Dua Perrie and Sabrina we need some fresh songs in that top 10!
I hope Badger can enter the top 40 on Friday and I think that the remix version of These Words is charting separately from the original
Sabrina did do a response song to 'drivers license' though ('Skin'). It was not very good x
Come on Artemas! Push Teddy out of the top 4 and I hope LIAPL can avoid ACR
The James album is really good, so it's great to see it doing so well. Fingers crossed that it holds on.
'Valerie' at #98 - automatic reset on the way surely!
Do we think FAS will make it to the Top 10 this week? I feel like SS could keep it out, or maybe STS, WCBF & TS will.
Close enough
I'm more interested to see if I or E can stay top 10!
Dua only needs a #7 peak to complete a Top 10 clean sweep, so she's on course for that!
Looks like Hozier's got another week at No 1 sewn up.
^that was the one thing we knew this week 1000% sure even before the week started
I might just be insanely out of touch but I’ve never heard this Hozier song anywhere whereas I felt Take Me To Church was inescapable, even though I was never a fan. It doesn’t seem to have the same ubiquity
I have heard people on Facebook saying they have received a dispatch email for their perrie cds today.
Thank God, Swift and Hozier are there. Teddy Swim won't have the number #01 slot in UK even if Benson and Beyoncé are gonna have the ACR effect.
I don't understand why this song is still so high though.
There's absolutely no threat of Teddy Swims getting to #1 now. Him continuing to clog up the top 10 for weeks and weeks to come can't be so easily dismissed unfortunately.
so Perrie's label are sending out CD singles this week but not vinyls, cassettes or bundles?
id imagine they might see tonights mids and see if its worth sending rhem all this week if they have a shot at top 3/5 or if its better to save some for a bit more longevity in future weeks to stop it collapsing too fast - bit like the beatles track, they kept some physicals for other weeks so it had more of a gentle descent from #1 than it wouldve if they used them all in week 1
What’s the longest we’ve gone without a UK artist having a #1 single?
Well it's at least 17 weeks (Bryan Adams + U2's one week) but I imagine there are longer stretches that someone will identify!
Exactly, you can hardly compare a song released 5 minutes ago to songs which have been out for years!
https://youtu.be/iye7wdaOwb8?si=Y-16YKHYqQCPO9c8 Seems they’re saving the video for next week
With Taylor Swift's return. It's stupid.

Natasha is indeed now listed on the credit for Badger's These Words!
It looks like Supersonic will miss the Top 40 on Friday - boo !!!
It's great to see Natasha Bedingfield keeping the retro flag flying at 17 and 37.
Hope Artemas can keep 4 as Beyoncé's had enough time up there now.
Eek would've liked Perrie to hold onto top 10 but looking very unlikely now if it's 10 today!
Nice to see Artemas closing the gap on Teddy but I was expecting him to overtake Teddy. I hope he does by Friday and I also hope that Sabrina can push Beyoncé out of the top 5
Maggie up to no 8!
Ah thought she was 9, thanks! Should be guaranteed a top 20 place then!
Perrie coming to do a Leigh-Anne!
The #1 album is too close to call but I think I'd put my money on Bey.
Hope Tyla can keep her top 40 place!
I much preferred These Words over Unwritten, but that was the original version.
They've dispatched some physicals today for Pezza today (I assume in a bid to make sure she does keep that top 10)
Wonder if Sabrina can go top 5 on Friday?
They really need to drop Perrie’s physicals.
My predictions for Friday
1. Hozier
2. Benson
3. Artemas
4. Teddy
5. Sabrina
6. Beyonce
7. Dasha
8. Ariana
9. Michael Marcagi
10. Dua or Perrie
Great to see Natasha Bedingfield credited in the Badger track.
Really can't see Perrie staying top 10 now, I think 11 is looking likely but hope I'm wrong, likewise can't see oasis managing to stay top 40.
Album sales are decent this week, I hope all the top 5 can each pass 10k.
Not convinced that the CD singles will save Perrie (seems to be the only format ready to go out of the 3 available).
You’d think they’d see how it’s performing and rush everything out this week. Odds are it’ll continue sinking like a stone, might as well aim for the highest peak possible
There's no guarantee Taylor will debut at number 1 and even if she did he would probably return to number 1 the week after I wouldn't call that unlucky
Amy impact on the albums showing! I hope Frank can appear in the top 100 as it does actually get a fair bit of showing in the film but obviously the film being called Back to Black I’d expect that to get more of the resurgence despite it already being the longest charting female album ever.
Perrie may hold on top ten with physicals depending on how many they are. Hoping it doesn’t drop too sharply though. I think both Perrie and Leigh’s debut tracks were nice enough but they’re both capable of doing a lot better. Hoping Jades can showcase off that personality better I think that’s what’s lacked with the solo LM releases so far.
Also really liking the Hozier track now. I actually think this years been rather good so far for number ones although I do wish Ariana got there with we can’t be friends.
Teddy still been annoying
I guess perrie’s vinyls are not ready
Cos only the Cds have a 12 april release date
It takes months to get vinyls ready but you can make Cds in one
Morning
So if people bought a bundle they pay delivery fee twice or just delay it all? 🤐
depends, most of the time you can choose between
wait until order is complete to send everything at once
vs send separately as it becomes available
They might do what Kylie done and when it was close for a Top 10 they took a hit on postage and sent out people that had pre-ordered PP along with the album so that they could get the sales.
Does anyone know what's at #11 and #12?
My perrie cd arrived today, as did my djo cassette (shame they’ve gone up the week he goes to ACR but I doubt they’d add too many sales anyway). Noah Kahan stick season (we’ll all be here forever) cd & vinyls have also released this week so I think it could help stick season up the albums chart a bit… not that it needs any help doing that lol
Looking like Perrie will get top 10 a lot of iTunes sales
She's only dropping CDs, she has cassettes and vinyls next week, along with the music video tomorrow.
I’d rather have a top 10 peak than a top 20 and a slightly artificially boosted second week tbh!
don't think the peak matters but top 10 would be nice. once capital hammers this it will be top 10 for sure.
She’s down to #57 on Spotify today even without the Taylor album bomb, I think this week will be it’s only chance for top 10 tbh
