Hozier's Too Sweet looks set to remain at #1 for a second week, meanwhile Perrie's first single Forget About Us aims for a high debut, Dua Lipa drops her latest track Illusion and Sabrina Carpenter is on course for a new entry with Espresso. There's also singles out this week from Caribou, D-Block Europe, Ken Carson, WILLOW, Tinashe, PARTYNEXTDOOR, ZAYN, Shaboozey, Suki Waterhouse, Mimi Webb and Kasabian
New albums in contention for #1 include Mark Knopfler's One Deep River and James' Yummy, while Future & Metro Boomin collaborate once again on We Still Don't Trust You, Girl In Red drops her sophomore album I'm Doing It Again Baby!, plus debut LPs from English Teacher with This Could Be Texas and Nia Archives with Silence Is Loud. Celebrating 30 years since the release of their debut single, Oasis’s Supersonic could enter the Top 10 for the first time ever at Number 6. The track originally peaked at Number 31 on its release in 1994.
Perrie’s solo career is off to a flying start – Forget About Us (co-written with Ed Sheeran) looks likely to be this week’s highest new entry at Number 7.
What ya doin’? Dua Lipa’s Illusion is predicted to debut at Number 8 – the third consecutive Top 10 single from her upcoming album Radical Optimism.
Take a sip! Sabrina Carpenter is heading for the highest peak of her career, with new summer slammer Espresso predicted to enter at Number 11.
Two dance hits could hit new peaks inside the Top 20 this week; The Blessed Madonna & Clementine Douglas’s Happier (16) and David Guetta & OneRepublic’s I Don’t Wanna Wait (18).

Wonder of djo will be reset with his cassettes out this week. Could be a tyla situation where it’s reset the week it’s meant to go and stays top 10 (though I believe hers was manual cos for the Travis Scott remix as I’m pretty sure it did nothing on streaming to warrant an automatic one 
)

No official release date, it just says “spring”. I’m assuming they were waiting to see how well it starts so they can have the extra sales to push it up.
I reckon with them she could go top 3 as she had cd, cassettes and vinyls and all reasonably cheap too

It won't be reset and it wouldn't help it that much. Its boost is coming from physicals not streaming.

Having physicals for a single and not releasing them in the first week makes no sense at all. Only logic would be some thought it’d take away streaming so delaying the first few days but nobody else has ever done that

I'd think it is more they aren't ready to ship yet? Maybe Perrie was meant to be released a few weeks later but Taylor has made it this week or get swallowed up by her so the physicals aren't ready.

They weren't miles ahead on the one day of Spotify that's been counted, while Perrie has a download + Apple Music advantage. I'd expect her much further ahead with physicals involved!

She only dropped a place today on Spotify and is still top 10 on Apple - so its not like her streaming is actually that bad. Especially when you factor in the number of songs above her which are already on ACR.

Yeah they made a mess of everything. No video. Her link which displays everything doesn’t include to physicals. If you see that specifically has no fixed date which discourages anyone from buying. Bizarre to mess up somebodies first release like that.

Not sure they’ve made a mess of everything? They probably thought/hoped there would be enough momentum behind her in week 1 with the buzz around the song and promo to go Top 10 (which of course it still could), I get them not wanting to throw everything at week one and try and get some longevity and hold back the physicals and video to week two, if they throw it all out this week they’ll end up with a Leigh-Ann type release.

Agreed holding back the physicals beyond first week hype is actually a wise decision in this case which could get it another week in the upper reigons. They have probably seen and reflected on the 4-18 and 11-52 drops of Jesy and LeAnn.

Wow at James taking an early lead, though it probably won't last if there's only 3k in it. Would be cool for them to finally get a #1 studio album though, they definitely deserve one by now.
That's a terrible start for The Feeling, although their last two albums missed the top 40 too so I guess they just don't have much of a fanbase these days compared to other bands of their ilk/era.

I bought that Linkin Park album the other day. A good collection, especially as they never licensed any material to Now or Hits albums so I owned very little of their stuff.
Could hang around a bit lower down as they didn't have a previous hits album and all of the streams of their classics will be attached to it.

Might be quite close for the #1 in the album chart this week then! Beyoncé up ~2.5k sales from last week's Monday update. She'll likely end the week with ~20-25k.
Great start for Perrie, Dua & Sabrina, although it'll likely be reverse order come Friday. Dua/Perrie will likley fall out of the top 10 come Friday with Sabrina rising.

Not really logical. She’s up due to physical release but last week her streaming was still good this week only Texas is still doing worthwhile numbers so her streaming will be down a huge amount. So she’ll likely be around 15-17k as a best case scenario estimate

Her streaming is a bit down from last week, but it'll still give a decent total (in part thanks to having all 16 tracks count and Amazon is supporting the album quite nicely still). She did ~15k last week and I can see her doing ~20k+ with the physical release boost.

Looks like they are being shipped - plus the release date on her website for the physicals says ‘April 12th’ - previously there was no release date listed.

id imagine they might see tonights mids and see if its worth sending rhem all this week if they have a shot at top 3/5 or if its better to save some for a bit more longevity in future weeks to stop it collapsing too fast - bit like the beatles track, they kept some physicals for other weeks so it had more of a gentle descent from #1 than it wouldve if they used them all in week 1

Ain't no way Taylor Swift won't get to no.1. Any star that overexposed gets an AUTOMATIC no.1, unless they start flopping. He shouldawaited a few weeks to release. Amy impact on the albums showing! I hope Frank can appear in the top 100 as it does actually get a fair bit of showing in the film but obviously the film being called Back to Black I’d expect that to get more of the resurgence despite it already being the longest charting female album ever.
Perrie may hold on top ten with physicals depending on how many they are. Hoping it doesn’t drop too sharply though. I think both Perrie and Leigh’s debut tracks were nice enough but they’re both capable of doing a lot better. Hoping Jades can showcase off that personality better I think that’s what’s lacked with the solo LM releases so far.
Also really liking the Hozier track now. I actually think this years been rather good so far for number ones although I do wish Ariana got there with we can’t be friends.

I’d rather have a top 10 peak than a top 20 and a slightly artificially boosted second week tbh!

don't think the peak matters but top 10 would be nice. once capital hammers this it will be top 10 for sure.

i think it makes an important impact to debut top 10, but the song doesn’t need it. i also think it can get back there with time. it’s already very impressive to be within reach of top 10 without the physicals and without a music video - who would have predicted that? also can’t forget that it was a very competitive week to release; especially, for female pop singers. she would have debuted top 10 and probably with higher streams if released the week prior.
the song is already stable and top 10 on AM but should have no issue increasing on spotify again as it grows on HHUK. music video today and extended mix, vinyls and cassettes still to ship. just a shame that taylor will wash her far out of the top 50 on spotify today - timing hasn’t been her friend

She’s down to #57 on Spotify today even without the Taylor album bomb, I think this week will be it’s only chance for top 10 tbh
