£££ happened sad.gif

Too busy being greedy by making lazy, popular sequels now! drama.gif I really hope 'Inside Out' and 'The Good Dinosaur' smash all the sequels out of the park, so they can get back to being original! sad.gif

I did quite like this quote in the article:

QUOTE
Morris also reassured fans that Pixar's sequels are only made if they are passionate about the idea, rather than "exploiting them for money".

"That's not what it's about," he said. "It's about an idea that is met with enthusiasm."

Director John Lasseter previously said that a fourth movie was not originally considered, after Toy Story 3 "ended Woody and Buzz's story with Andy so perfectly".

However, when an "exciting" new idea came up, he "could not stop thinking about it" and "knew [he]had to make it".

S'pose it shows that at least they KNOW that a lot of fans may think that's the reason for a new one and there is an amount of pressure to make this worth it (doesn't explain Cars 2 though). That said, that description does not fill me with hope at all.

Even though a romantic comedy doesn't sound great, this is still my most anticipated movie and I am so so so excited for it.
Toy story 3 is my favourite film of all time heart.gif

Every year except 2014 we have had a Pixar film. Having two this year makes up for having none last year

This will be released on 21st June 2019! cheer.gif

"Woody has always been confident about his place in the world and that his priority is taking care of his kid, whether that’s Andy or Bonnie. But when Bonnie adds a reluctant new toy called “Forky” to her room, a road trip adventure alongside old and new friends will show Woody how big the world can be for a toy. Directed by Josh Cooley (“Riley’s First Date?”) and produced by Jonas Rivera (“Inside Out,” “Up”) and Mark Nielsen (associate producer “Inside Out”), Disney•Pixar’s “Toy Story 4” ventures to U.S. theaters on June 21, 2019."

Trailer doesn't give much away, like the TS3 teaser did, but I'm really excited for this! Josh Cooley is a really exciting director who will undoubtedly become one of Pixar's big names in the next few years.

The film's also written by some of Pixar's best: John Lasseter (really disappointed about what he did, but he's an extremely taleted guy), Pete Docter (director of Monsters Inc, Up and Inside Out), Andrew Stanton (director of Finding Nemo, Walle and Finding Dory) and Lee Unkrich (director of Toy Story 3 and Coco).

Is that a fork with pipe cleaner hands? laugh.gif

Excited for this and I’m sure it’ll be one of the biggest movies of 2019 (#2 behind Avengers) although it’s a bit weird that a plastic fork that obviously been crafted by a small kid can talk etc. Was it alive before it was given appendages? Has cutlery always been alive in this world?

Kind of sounds like a mix between Woody vs Buzz from the first movie and the search for Woody in Al’s Toy Barn from the second

Disney are in for a HUGE year next year, but I can see Avengers 4 and Lion King outgrossing TS4!

Excited for this. My friend who has seen some footage at a comic con he went to, seems to think the spork thing will be a show stealer.
