So, I thought we could do with a thread where we chat about what we've been listening to most during the month and then be able to look back at the end of the year and it wont be so difficult to remember what the hell we listened to in 2016!
The same thread will do each month - I'll just change the subtitle. _______________________________________ I'll go first. I'd say my most played tracks were David Bowie's Blackstar and Suede's Outsiders. And the parent albums would probably the most played full albums of the month too. With the death of Black's Colin Vearnacome earlier in the week I listened to their debut album and decided to make a playlist of late 80s somber songs - Twist in My Sobriety, Father Figure, Sign Your Name, Happy Ever After, Martha's Harbour, Sweetest Smile, Rent. I must add more to it. I also went back over The National's High Violet. This post has been edited by Colm: 28th January 2016, 10:48 AM |

This month... I went through all the Tricky albums I hadn't heard, want to go through them all again soon because they were good and I currently can't really distinguish them from each other. Also discovered this really awesome chilled EP by bAnoffee (EP is self-titled), been quite addicted to that so have been listening to it a lot. Oh yeah and she has another EP that I also listened to but not as much. Lana Del Rey's 'Honeymoon' album, been properly getting to grips with that. James Blake addiction... Grimes' 'Art Angels' album. Plus I overlisten to my many BJSC potentials all the time but we won't be getting into those here right now

I listened to Foal's album a bit in January also. It sounded very good. I must go back to it. Thanks for the reminder - and welcome to Buzzjack, Danny.
