Finally a SG related tweet about the upcoming vinyl releases.

The OCC page also mentioned the SG vinyls in an article on the OCC page.

Spiceworld and the GH standard edition will both be released March 6.

Seems like the OCC article has helped with a few sales, Greatest Hits is #660 and Spiceworld #447, they were a lot lower in recent weeks.

There still being no sign of Forever on Amazon, or any of the 3 on sites like HMV, is so weird.

Now, if only they could reprint the actual physical cd out to stores too that would be nice.

#273 for Spiceworld now on Amazon. I'd love it to do well so we get a sales update. Hopefully closer to the release date the social media posts about it as that would help drive sales. The social media not mentioning the white Spice vinyl left it to flounder.

Seems like Forever might be pushed back till November 2020 which would be its 20th anniversary. I think that would be wise as it would make it more sort after to complete peoples collection then and the social media can do some nice 20th anniversary posts.

Nice to have the social media promoting the vinyl releases, hopefully both will do well.

'Spice' is pretty much a classic girl group and 90s album now. It gets so much attention which is great, however it's nice to see 'Spiceworld' get a bit of the limelight. Now if they had stocked this on CD since the 2007 reunion that would have been good.

Spiceworld vinyl is #1 on Amazon UK vinyl chart and #8 on cd and vinyl bestsellers. Amazing what a few social media posts can do.

Glad that they’re finally being pushed & that the Spiceworld preorders are looking strong!

I’m disappointed with this new GH artwork being used again though, I was really wanting the original CD cover artwork. sad.gif For me that picture is 100% associated with Spice Up Your Life, so it’s kind of jarring to see it used for both GH vinyl releases.

The Greatest Hits” still bothers me too. 🤭

Very nice to see those positions! I hope the GH vinyl sells well too, but at the moment it's a more modest #11 on vinyl and #96 overall.

JB Hi-Fi (Australian website) shows the artwork with the hype stickers attached:

Lol at the Spiceworld one saying "With the smash hit No. 1 singles Spice Up Your Life, Stop and Viva Forever".

Tbh the greatest hits will be just nice to have a standard vinyl version out there for casuals. It being £15.99 on most of the vinyl pre-order sites is great.

Hopefully they both chart the week of release and we get an updated sales for both.

So excited to get my hands on a 'Spiceworld' vinyl wub.gif

I was also disappointed that this new Greatest Hits vinyl doesn't have the original artwork - won't be purchasing as I already have the picture disc!

Stop has aged pretty well though. Ordered both, at least this new black GH looks better than that picture disc lol

I really don't mind the GH new cover. Would be funny if they released a 3rd original cover version, milk us girls.

Greatest Hits is not the original cover? Then I am cancelling my order cos that cover is pish! I will wait for a better edition lol the fact that it is also 15 tracks in one disk makes me dispair on the quality of sound... Do better Spice Girls!!!

Spiceworld is ordered!
