great for Kygo/Rita considering its mixed reaction.

41 810 Ariana Grande - break up with your girlfriend, i'm bored (15-7-2-3-4-9-7-9-9-14-20-36-43-xx) [13 wks]
42 803 P!nk - Walk Me Home (13-8-5-4-5-5-10-16-17-19-22-44-47-51-71-xx) [15 wks]
43 797 Meduza feat. GOODBOYS - Piece of Your Heart (42-15-11-6-4-7-9-9-21-34-43-50-42-45-66-xx-60-71-47-70-xx-71-xx) [20 wks]
44 781 Jax Jones & Years & Years - Play (...-10-6-5-5-7-7-9-12-21-24-28-37-46-66-xx) [14 wks]
45 777 Avicii feat. Aloe Blacc - SOS (44-6-5-5-5-6-7-10-16-22-27-39-45-51-75-xx) [15 wks]

Avicii's first of two posthumous hits here, SOS peaked at #5 on the Multichart, as did the song above it here, Play by Jax Jones. Meduza's Piece Of Your Heart has the longest chart run on our countdown so far with 20 weeks, but it's not quite enough for a top 40 placing. Only two females in this section, P!nk and Ariana Grande. Walk Me Home is P!nk's only appearance this year, whereas Ariana has one more remaining.

36 843 Charli XCX & Christine and the Queens - Gone (22-16-6-5-6-6-18-11-12-17-19-35-30-34-60-xx) [15 wks]
37 837 Riton & Oliver Heldens feat. Vula - Turn Me On (26-16-9-11-5-8-7-4-3-5-11-19-27-...) [13 wks]
38 830 Lizzo - Good As Hell (74-42-52-67-xx-75-64-56-64-42-32-24-18-16-10-11-14-12-15-17-27-35-...) [21 wks]
39 829 Ava Max - Sweet But Psycho (...-2-2-2-2-2-3-6-9-18-21-31-35-38-64-xx) [14 wks]
40 817 Little Mix feat. Ty Dolla $ign - Think About Us (...-41-38-32-19-14-9-12-8-7-9-12-15-22-43-42-xx) [15 wks]

EX CEE EX~~ Charli's collab with Christine 'Gone' became her third top 10 single from the 'Charli' era. Lizzo's 2016 track 'Good As Hell' saw chart success following her big breakthrough, reaching a #10 peak here. With points split between two years, 'Sweet But Psycho' appeared at #49 on 2018's EOY chart but goes a little higher this time. Riton & Oliver Heldens' dance tune 'Turn Me On' peaked at #3, and there's also a Little Mix single that isn't Wasabi

31 856 Normani - Motivation (28-7-7-3-3-3-5-4-5-9-14-24-46-50-xx) [14 wks]
32 852 Camila Cabello - Liar (19-11-8-4-6-4-4-8-12-20-22-25-55-51-56-59-...) [16 wks]
33 848 Vampire Weekend - Harmony Hall (46-19-20-19-17-12-11-14-13-20-27-35-34-34-36-39-51-73) [18 wks]
34 845 Regard - Ride It (75-42-22-17-10-11-10-8-10-7-9-10-15-19-42-65-75-xx) [17 wks]
35 843 Lizzo - Truth Hurts (72-68-40-27-17-14-13-14-8-12-13-21-19-27-40-39-52-57-66-58-xx) [20 wks]

Here is Lizzo's third and final appearance! Truth Hurts peaked at #8 on the Multichart, much better than its UK peak but not quite a #1 like in the US. Regard's Ride It peaked at #7 and charted for 17 weeks, much better than Jay Sean's original which lasted just 5 weeks and peaked at #59. Buzzjack embraced Vampire Weekend's long-awaited return as you can see with Harmony Hall's lengthy run. Last we have back-to-back Fifth Harmony members, with Normani's first proper solo single finishing just ahead of one of Camila's sophomore leads.

26 878 Avicii - Heaven (48-16-8-9-7-10-10-10-12-21-23-30-28-41-48-52-68-61-65-75-xx) [20 wks]
27 863 Miley Cyrus - Mother's Daughter (31-9-8-7-6-8-6-8-7-13-15-17-35-49-61-73-xx) [16 wks]
28 857 Lana Del Rey - Doin' Time (62-42-41-23-27-35-28-49-49-54-68-xx-29-10-13-16-18-19-21-25-44-66-xx) [21 wks]
29 857 Tiësto & Mabel - God Is a Dancer (21-10-7-3-2-2-5-8-10-14-26-22-38-39-...) [14 wks]
30 856 Ava Max - So Am I (26-10-4-1-1-2-3-3-6-7-18-36-47-60-64-72-xx) [16 wks]

Ava Max's second #1 single 'So Am I' kicks off the top 30, closely followed by Tiesto & Mabel's 'God is a Dancer' and Lana Del Rey's 'Doin' Time' - which curiously managed a pretty decent run before shooting back into the chart after Norman F**king Rockwell's release, and breaking the top 10! Miley Cyrus scores another entry here, her highest with #6 hit 'Mother's Daughter', and finally the second of Avicii's posthumous singles - 'Heaven' featuring Chris Martin

21 945 Lauv & Troye Sivan - i'm so tired... (45-28-24-21-12-11-10-3-3-4-5-7-10-16-30-46-72-xx) [17 wks]
22 932 Mabel - Mad Love (22-7-4-7-9-7-4-4-3-4-5-14-15-42-61-xx) [15 wks]
23 927 Ariana Grande  - 7 rings (9-4-2-1-1-1-1-1-6-6-13-16-27-49-xx) [14 wks]
24 919 Mark Ronson feat. Lykke Li - Late Night Feelings (16-4-4-4-3-3-3-6-19-20-14-23-24-35-43-xx) [15 wks]
25 882 Mark Ronson feat. Miley Cyrus - Nothing Breaks Like A Heart (...-1-1-1-1-1-1-2-5-9-16-19-21-31-73-xx) [14 wks]

Double Mark Ronson in this section, and he's still got one more to come. Nothing Breaks Like A Heart would've challenged for top 10 had its full Multichart run been in 2019; instead it lands just behind its follow-up single Late Night Feelings. 7 rings is unsurprisingly Ariana's highest entry here, but maybe surprising that it's this low, a result of its quick descent despite 5 weeks at #1. Finally, Mad Love and I'm So Tired both had #3 peaks on the Multichart and #8 peaks on the official chart!

16 983 Mark Ronson feat. Camila Cabello - Find U Again (23-13-11-6-4-6-8-7-6-9-8-10-18-21-45-57-57-xx) [17 wks]
17 975 Katy Perry - Never Really Over (7-1-1-1-1-1-1-3-5-7-9-11-28-37-52-xx) [15 wks]
18 971 Taylor Swift - You Need To Calm Down (3-2-2-2-4-6-8-15-16-16-22-13-16-35-38-64-59-xx) [17 wks]
19 969 Sam Smith & Normani - Dancing With A Stranger (17-6-3-5-4-4-6-5-8-12-12-22-25-22-40-59-73-xx) [17 wks]
20 952 Billie Ellish - bury a friend (17-7-3-4-2-2-7-9-7-7-10-12-32-34-41-70-xx) [16 wks]

Billie Eilish's first top 10 single 'bury a friend' kicks off the top 20 here, followed by Sam Smith & Normani's #3 smash 'Dancing with a Stranger', while Camila appears on Mark Ronson's 'Find U Again' at #16. Taylor Swift reached #2 with 'You Need To Calm Down', only held off by fellow summer pop hit 'Never Really Over' from Katy Perry, which matched Chained To The Rhythm's 6-week run at #1.

11 1049 Taylor Swift - Lover (15-2-2-2-4-9-12-15-24-30-33-24-19-15-20-23-36-34-...) [18 wks]
12 1025 Post Malone - Circles (55-14-9-9-6-3-7-7-10-15-12-13-13-18-20-25-31-...) [17 wks]
13 1021 Calvin Harris & Rag’n’Bone Man - Giant (16-7-5-4-5-6-3-7-7-5-15-16-17-28-37-49-51-69-xx) [18 wks]
14 991 Lewis Capaldi - Someone You Loved (57-44-30-19-11-10-10-9-11-11-8-12-11-18-39-44-47-52-60-xx-55-65-72-71-68-xx-75-xx) [25 wks]
15 991 Sam Smith - How Do You Sleep? (57-13-4-3-3-2-4-5-8-11-12-15-20-21-29-35-59-xx) [17 wks]

A Multichart #1 has been elusive for Sam Smith, but they made it to #2 with the brilliant How Do You Sleep? last year. Scottish sensation Lewis Capaldi only reached #8 with Someone You Loved but had a long chart run to compensate, though not quite as long as its official chart run kink.gif Fellow Scottish sensation Calvin Harris had one solitary hit in 2019, matching the #13 EOY position of Promises the year before! (One Kiss was the EOY #1 of course) Buzzjack also embraced a Post Malone hit in Circles, which charted for another 5 weeks into 2020. Surprisingly the lone female in this section, Taylor clinched a third top-2 hit from her Lover era with the song of the same name, blocked from #1 by Higher Love. It charted another 3 weeks into 2020.

So what we learned from those last few sections: don’t be a #1 on the multichart and you’ll last longer laugh.gif

10 1062 Jax Jones & Ella Henderson - This Is Real (26-16-20-15-11-11-5-3-1-3-3-6-4-8-9-13-...) [16 wks]

slowly but surely we're in the top 10! 'This Is Real' was Ella's return to the charts after many a year, it became her third #1 on the Multi, and the fourth overall for Jax

9 1158 Dominic Fike - 3 Nights (59-45-22-25-23-22-28-23-26-27-25-25-24-28-43-26-27-27-28-31-48-53-47-50-47-51-xx-55-57-55-75-xx) [30 wks]

3 Nights stood out in a great way among last summer's hits, and was easily the ultimate slow-burning hit of 2019, somehow only stalling at #22 but managing a 30-week chart run (the longest of the year) to make up for it. It spent 16 weeks between #22 and #28!

8 1193 Tiësto, Jonas Blue & Rita Ora - Ritual (22-15-17-11-11-11-11-9-9-11-10-9-9-9-12-15-23-24-39-50-xx) [20 wks]

Tiesto, Jonas & Rita's dance track 'Ritual' spent more than half its run glued to the #9-11 region, just lingering around like bad smells often do. Tiesto's follow-up 'God Is a Dancer' went on to reach a higher peak of #2

Glad 3 Nights made it top 10 despite its low peak. Not as keen on Play or Ritual but the 16-20 section is a pretty great group of songs

7 1193 Jax Jones & Martin Solveig present Europa with Madison Beer - All Day and Night (21-8-3-2-1-1-1-2-2-2-3-2-9-13-20-22-29-37-73-xx) [19 wks]

Another appearance for Jax Jones! 'All Day And Night' reminded us of a time when more dance music sounded like this, and Buzzjack showed a clear demand for it as you can see with 3 weeks at #1 and 10 weeks in the top 3. It was the only Europa song we'd end up hearing in 2019, not that they could top this anyway!

lovebirds Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello reached #2 on the Multi with their summer hit Senorita, a new peak position for Shawn, and matching Camila's previous highest with Havana

'Wish You Well' spent 3 non-consecutive weeks at its #3 peak and 10 weeks in the top 10. Becky's biggest Multichart hit to date, but not quite for Sigala! Nevertheless, a respectable run for a fantastic collaboration heart.gif
