I think it will sell more than Madonna’s latest album in total.

My vote was #1 and 51k+.

I think as I said before the fact that the Glastonbury performance and fan purchases all impact in week 1 that she could pass the 50,000 mark.

i think it will sell between 7-8k and reach the top 10.... she has released far too many greatest hits albums...most fans already own the 2012 version, and the 3 new tracks are not enough to generate interest....

Plus I would say this release is aiming at a casual audience more than fans.

I’d be shocked if she opened with 7k sales in a week tbh.... Kylie has some SERIOUS collectors and just 200 fans ordering the complete bundle would contribute to 2k in sales that’s without all the other bundles available featuring 2-7 products.

Awareness of Kylie from the general public is probably at the highest it’s been for years and following on from the success of ‘Golden’ I think there is a renewed interest in her back catalogue which will be spiked further by Glastonbury - even if it doesn’t open with the sales I’m hoping for I think it will easily manage 25k+.

There is renewed interest in Kylie and Glastonbury will raise that even further.
This is a much stronger package than the Best Of so it will do so much better.

I would be shocked and so disappointed if this release opens on sales of under 25,000.

^^ I can’t see it happening - even the lazy ‘Best Of Kylie Minogue’ opened with just under 10k in sales and that was without any promo or multiple formats.

The pre orders will build and build over the next month and could potentially make 20,000 or more.
The Kylie shop will also get busier as the release date draws closer.
Opening of 40,000 i feel is safe.

Would love to know how many they have made - it’s still available and for to #1 on the Amazon vinyl chart on pre-orders and is still in the Top 15 now.

I do think this won’t do anywhere near as well as Golden. There’s literally 0 new materiel on there now. There was originally meant to be 3/4 new songs but I have no idea what happened. It’s a bit disappointing really.

Adding new material would have secured more sales but the package still has enough to captivate sales.
