QUOTE The Sugababes will not release a fourth single from their current hit album Change. Keisha has told me that they would have loved to release My Love Is Pink, but instead they will be writing for the new album in the next few weeks, so it's not all bad! This means we could be expecting album #6 at some point later this year! Credit to Rob (Sugatime) |

Thank god, next time they really need an album with more than just one or two killer songs, and dont make any istakes like releasing Denial again.

^Agreed. Denial should have been the second single; that or NGDA, in either order.
Anyway, this is great news. I really think the next album will be out by October. |

Didnt someone say the album wont be out until next year though?
Good idea to stop with change now though and i agree, denial should have replaced change. |

Well the girls themselves (and Island Records) Say the end of the year.
I'm more inclined to believe them than you and your 'sources' |

What bloody sources?
I was talking about people who have supposedly met them and who said the next album would be out next year and the fact that if they dont start writing until a few weeks, i dont think they will get another album out before xmas. I always said they wouldnt do a 4th single, now i'm sayin they wont do an album this year. I'm not saying its not gona happen dude, calm down. |

Its definately possible as they've done it before as Three came a year after Angels With Dirty Faces, so album 6 one year after Change, likely I reckon.

Well as dissapointed as I am that the amazing NGDA will forever remain as an album track, I can see why they made this decision, with Change and Denial (Despite selling well) failing to make the top 10 thanks to the new chart rules and their tendancy for their 4th singles to perform poorly anyway I really don't think it would matter what got released next as it would most-likely flop especially now with the new chart rules.

Three was writen and recorded etc in 3 months. Album 6 will be with us by xmas, Island will want to cash in on the high sales to get a good few weeks opening sales. |

Like the record company are going to miss their biggest sales period.

Incase you didnt notice, change (the single) was out in december and was promoting the album at xmas time. Sales of change were doing really well right up to xmas! If they released too close to xmas, you only get a few weeks high sales and then the slump of new year.
I think they will spend a lot of time recording this next album and then release a song next Summer like PTB and an album in around october like change. That way you can carry your album campaign through the Summer and into xmas with singles etc. |
