Noel Gallagher is heading straight out of the Top 100 by Friday laugh.gif

#15 on Sunday and #37 on Monday certainly backs up your point.
Ugh at the Beatles Number 1 in the album chart.

Noel would only need to sell a few more hundred to keep a top 100 position, I think it's doable.

G'won 'Abbey Road' wub.gif I'm very pleased about that lead, here's to another 50th anniversary #1 after the Sgt. Pepper's re-release also got there. I want to contribute physically but I can't really justify the prices when I already own the album on vinyl laugh.gif I have at least streamed it a couple of times.

I hope Noel Gallagher can stay Top 100 or even better and stay Top 75.
Belinda Carlisle top 40 still, this is just great.
I didnt expect Belinda Carlisle to outsell Emeli Sande in 2019.

I wonder whether the reentry of Beatles 1967-70 is because of Abbey Road streams?

^ probably cos of the stupid rule giving streaming points to both the parent album and the greatest hits when you stream songs from the parent album

was checking the release schedule for albums in October and is kinda empty, Elbow in a couple of weeks and then some albums at the end of Oct but not much...

The Darkness, Dermot Kennedy, The Sherlocks and Mika on the 4th (The Darkness and The Sherlocks' last albums went top 10)

Elbow, Freddie Mercury and Babymetal on the 11th (they have a surprisingly large fanbase, the last album got to #15 and they've got bigger since)

Foals, James Arthur and Wiley on the 18th

Bruce Springsteen (soundtrack from Western Stars), James Blunt, Cigarettes After Sex, Rick Astley, Stereophonics, Van Morrison and Ringo Starr on the 25th.

No massive releases, but a few big and lots of notable ones.

Glad that Abbey Road is the No.1 album. Not bothering to buy it again though but have been told that the new remaster is brilliant.

I know the 2017 Sgt. Pepper remaster went to No.1 but did The White Album do it too? I can't remember, getting old.

EDIT. It only made No.4 on sales of 22,086.

Nothing that'll sell continually well up to Xmas except perhaps Rick Astley or James Arthur but both could flop as well.

The Xmas albums top 3 will likely be Westlife/Lewis/Ed Sheeran already!

Foals/Stereophonics/Dermot Kennedy will all sell well initially!

Rick Astley with a Best of and a James Arthur album proceeded by 56 flop singles? I doubt they do anything in the charts

cannot really see any big release in that Oct list, nothing that will still sell on week 2

Yeh I was clutching at straws and have been mentioning the poor release schedule in October for months now but everyone says don't worry it'll improve.

Our only hope is Adele I guess.

Her albums never done hugely well, more likely One More Sleep creeping higher.

Likely Buble will be top 10 AGAIN!! And then the other big streaming albums of the year and of course others promo depending!

I see the single CD is only £7 from Amazon if you're not bothered about outtakes etc. That's a good price for a Beatles CD.
