I do occasionally allow them on my personal chart (3 in 16 years!) but they are almost as bad as debuts at #1 for me.

Also this years Critics choice came up short.

I think Tom can do 20k at the very least, I hope so anyway.

I am well aware of the fact it was 1m worldwide and my point still stands if Adele gave away 1 million copies of 25 free for a day worldwide, the day before its release, it would've reduced its opening sales in the UK and everywhere, because who wants to buy an album they already own? It did not flop. You can say that all you want and be as abrupt as you like but it didn't flop. Especially when its lead single has over 800k chart sales.

Most of Rihanna's albums tend to sell over a long period of time rather than a lot all at once. It's certified gold and is still top 30 on the album chart. But it's certainly a step down in comparison to her previous albums - however it's the first album of hers not to get a Q4 release since GGGB and considering how much the album market has decreased I'd say it's been a success so far.
