Ariana Grande is back at #1 thanks to a remarkable performance on Sunday in Manchester for the One Love benefit concert. The 23 year old pop sensation brought together many elite artists from both the UK and stateside to deliver an outstanding night of musical entertainment. One Last Time has received much appeal from both fans and supporters of the We Love Manchester Emergency Fund. Over £2 million was raised from the event. Unpredictable and Weak, which both feature Louisa Johnson, continue to do well within the Top 5 this week, with Camila Cabello just behind at #5. Rita Ora is in the Top 10 mix this week with upbeat single Your Song written by none other than Ed Sheeran. This weeks highest new entry isn't to be found in the Top 10 this week, it's by One Direction's Niall Horan whose follow-up single to This Town has received overnight attention thanks to a very good live performance at One Love Manchester last weekend. Slow Hands is this week's highest new entry at #15. Dance producers Calvin Harris and John Gibbons climb into the Top 20 this week. At #21 we find another chart benefactor of last weekend's charity concert which is former Oasis front man Liam Gallagher who surprised fans with a performance of his current single Wall Of Glass. Chris Martin of Coldplay provided backing vocals on a stellar performance of Oasis classic Live Forever. Liam has since hinted that an Oasis revival is not inconceivable provided he and his brother Noel can bury the hatchet. The highest climber this week is Hailee Steinfeld who climbs up 9 places with Most Girls. Martine McCutcheon is back with a new single and it's a new entry in this weeks Top 40 Countdown. There is also room this week for re-entries from Sigrid and Miley Cyrus. Any comments made this week will be replied to in next week's chart. Please continue to show your support and I thank you for checking out my personal chart this week!

Hi Award Hi Jason,Fantastic to see the spanish mega hit at number 1 here. Probably the biggest worldwide hit since Gangam Style. What an unpredictable song at number 2. I wasn't expecting to see Olly & Louisa together. Well, I like that song. I hope Rita Ora is top 10 next week. I love Your Song. Also like that Little Mix song. Shame there's Stormzy there though. By the way, he doesn't ruin the song for me. My fave new entry is P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing). Don't forget to check out my new chart to know if there's a new number 1. Good chart! I hear what your saying about a Gangnam Style comparison in terms of success. It's certainly looking likely to outperform that song isn't it. I'm loving the collaborative sound of Olly & Louisa, it sounds like a bliss summer pop anthem. Really hope it can take off officially soon. Rita is indeed Top 10 this week. Little Mix need to stop featuring rappers in my opinion, it's ruining some of their chart success. If you notice, most of their recent hits have been without a featured artist. Thanks for the comment. hi Wardy! Hi Dan,arrow up.gif 1. Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber Despacito [Remix] [7-8-2-1] (4 weeks) still enjoying this, it seems that this is the song of the summer too - its lead in the UK chart is huge at the moment ne.gif 2. Olly Murs & Louisa Johnson Unpredictable [2] (1 week) this sounds alright but probably won't be making my chart ne.gif 12. Rita Ora Your Song [12] (1 week) nice enough song I guess, though I prefer her early singles particularly Hot Right Now ne.gif 14. Little Mix feat. Stormzy Power [14] (1 week) at least they've got a good rapper on this time, though I'm still not a big fan of the song ne.gif 18. Martin Garrix feat. Troye Sivan There For You [18] (1 week) found this one disappointing especially by Martin's high standards ne.gif 25. John Gibbons P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) [25] (1 week) yes yes yes! big summer hit incoming! ne.gif 26. NEIKED feat. Mimi Call Me [26] (1 week) quite alright, I was never big on 'Sexual' but this sounds like it may grow further ne.gif 32. Hailee Steinfeld Most Girls [32] (1 week) decent song but lacks what Starving had in its production really ne.gif 36. Matoma, Faith Evans & The Notorious B.I.G. feat. Snoop Dogg Party On The West Coast [36] (1 week) best song Matoma's done for a while, clearly The Notorious B.I.G. works well with tropical production ne.gif 38. Alan Walker feat. Gavin James Tired [38] (1 week) I was really disappointed by this ne.gif 39. Matrix & Futurebound feat. Calum Scott Light Us Up [39] (1 week) not a fan, shame really cos they did have some bangers back in the day great chart! A bit of a mixed bag for you this week then? Of the ones you highlighted, I'm really hoping that Unpredictable, Call Me and Most Girls take off and do well. I'm not expecting much from the others unfortunately. Thanks for the comment. Hey Awa, Hey Sven,We've got the same numero uno Great new entries this week again French Montana and Jonas Blue already down Camila Cabello up in the top 10 Great chart as Always !! Glad you liked the new entries. French Montana is still sounding great right now, and Jonas Blue is my track of the week. Camila is in the Top 5 this week! Thanks for commenting. Hi Wardy Hi Pete,Nice to see Your Song enter! Surprisingly nice to listen to! Great to see There For You and PYT here as well - both great dance tracks! Nice to see Tired enter too - ik it's not the Alan Walker sound but I still really like it! Great chart Glad you like Your Song, it climbs into my Top 10 this week. Can you tell it's written by Ed Sheeran? There For You is massively underperforming isn't it. John Gibbons seems to be on a lot of people's charts right now. Thanks for your comment. Hi AW, Hey John,I was going to make an Olly joke but I see jason beat me to it. Doh! I see I need to be quicker off the mark! A few of your new entries I need to hear, most of the others I like, and good to see camila in the 10. Not many climbers down the lower end though, apart from new entries, give or take a Swish Swish - that will be climbing for me too cheers! john You can still make your Olly joke if you wish! Glad you like the new entries, Camila has climbed into the Top 5 this week! Swish Swish needs to be turned into the next official single. Thanks for commenting. Hiya awardinary, how are you doing? Hey Tombo,Here are my favourites from this weeks chart! arrow up.gif 1. Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber Despacito [Remix] [7-8-2-1] (4 weeks) ne.gif 2. Olly Murs & Louisa Johnson Unpredictable [2] (1 week) Not heard this yet but I like both artists, I still need to hear 24HRS in full arrow down.gif 3. Ariana Grande One Last Time [1-3] (2 weeks) arrow up.gif 4. AJR feat. Louisa Johnson Weak [Stay Strong Mix] [7-5-2-5-4] (5 weeks arrow down.gif 9. Steps Scared Of The Dark [5-7-11-4-3-3-1-1-2-4-8-9] (12 weeks, 2 at #1) ne.gif 14. Little Mix feat. Stormzy Power [14] (1 week) arrow up.gif 24. Katy Perry feat. Louisa Johnson Best Behaviour [34-8-3-4-7-12-14-16-19-26-34] (11 weeks) Cute track! ne.gif 36. Matoma, Faith Evans & The Notorious B.I.G. feat. Snoop Dogg Party On The West Coast [36] (1 week) This is such a tune, I heard it a few weeks ago and loved it arrow down.gif 40. Katy Perry feat. Migos Bon Appιtit [30-34-40] (3 weeks) This seems to be taking a tumble on a lot of charts this week, will the album save her come Friday? I'm doing well thanks. You have a lot of favourites then, and I, glad to see AJR and Steps in that selection! Unpredictable is a real summer jam! Party On The West Coast has dropped out after a single week, but it could be back again soon... Bon Appιtit did have some minor appeal for a brief time, but it's flopped badly. Thanks for commenting. hi awardinary Hi Dobbo,I approve of your #1! Still sounding great Of your new entries I'm liking Power & P.Y.T. and I expect the Garrix song will be a grower. Not a fan of new Alan Walker or M&F but at least they enter low down here Lots of great stuff here! Great to know you approve of Despacito, although you might not approve that it's not at #1 this week. Power needs to do better officially, but I guess it might take until it has been reduced in price. Both the entries you weren't a fan of aren't there this week! Thanks for your comment. Hi Andrew, Hey Harry,Great to see Olly Murs & Louisa Johnson so high Crying In The Club on the climb New Rita is my favorite new entry New NEIKED is a growe which s good I didnt like Sexsual! Alan Walker and Matrix & Futurebound are good too! Great Chart I'm loving the Olly & Louisa collaboration right now. I need it to do better offocially. Camila is still very much on the climb, and she may not be done yet. Rita Ora is in the Top 10 this week! Glad you like the other entries from NEIKED, Alan Walker and Matrix & Futurebound. Thanks for your comment. 2. Olly Murs & Louisa Johnson Unpredictable [2] Hey toffo, high debut for this! 12. Rita Ora Your Song [12] (1 week) really liking this 14. Little Mix feat. Stormzy Power bad mix for me 18. Martin Garrix feat. Troye Sivan There For You not bad but doesn't get to the highs of scared 25. John Gibbons P.Y.T. (Pretty Young Thing) not bad this a good reworking 26. NEIKED feat. Mimi Call Me not as good as sexual, a bit generic 32. Hailee Steinfeld Most Girls catchy summery track 36. Matoma, Faith Evans & The Notorious B.I.G. feat. Snoop Dogg Party On The West Coast no bad, sounds like it samples old thing back tho which i prefer 38. Alan Walker feat. Gavin James Tired alan has done much better than this 39. Matrix & Futurebound feat. Calum Scott Light Us Up [39] (1 week) this a quite good actually great chart! I hope of your selection that Unpredictable, Your Song and Most Girls does well. Thanks for commenting. Hi awardinary! Here's my faves: Hey Mango, arrow up.gif 1. Luis Fonsi & Daddy Yankee feat. Justin Bieber Despacito [Remix] [7-8-2-1] (4 weeks) Going to be so close between this and OTL tomorrow ne.gif 2. Olly Murs & Louisa Johnson Unpredictable [2] (1 week) This is good but not good enough to be a hit. arrow down.gif 3. Ariana Grande One Last Time [1-3] (2 weeks) arrow up.gif 4. AJR feat. Louisa Johnson Weak [Stay Strong Mix] [7-5-2-5-4] (5 weeks arrow down.gif 5. Clean Bandit feat. Zara Larsson Symphony [8-1-1-1-2-3-2-3-3-3-5] (11 weeks, 3 at #1) arrow down.gif 6. Rita Ora Your Song [12] (1 week) Excellent comeback single from her, and she sounds great on it vocally. ne.gif 14. Little Mix feat. Migos Bon Appιtit [30-34-40] (3 weeks) Some great new entries in the Top 20 this week! Lots and lots of favourites then? I guess Despacito was always going to hold onto the top spot for another week. Great that you like Unpredictable, Your Song and Power. Thanks for your comment. This post has been edited by awardinary: Jun 10 2017, 07:19 PM |

Hi award
One Last Time back to the top. Don't you like her version of Somewhere Over The Rainbow? Great to see Crying In The Club in the top 5. So happy she's UK top 30. ZAYN's PILLOWTALK and Harry's Sign of The Times are still my fave former 1D solo singles but Niall's Slow Hands is coming close. He is a very talented guy. Liam Gallagher's Wall Of Glass means good rock stuff back to the charts. God bless him! Good chart as always |
