so, with Bieber releasing this Friday, what do we think the #1 turnover will look like going into the future?

I'll say...
Dua Lipa > Justin Bieber [4] > Taylor Swift [3] > Clean Bandit [4] > ?

it's obviously very hard to predict, but I can't see Taylor releasing at the same time as Justin and I also can't see anything out at the moment making #1 (aside from Dua ofc).

What do you think?

It's hard to tell without hearing the songs being released. Bieber will obviously be #1 though.

It's really difficult to say when new songs only get announced a week or two in advance, but Dua has it sewn up this week then I think Justin will take the top spot until Taylor releases basically, then she'll probably hog it well into Q4 with her album to boost it! laugh.gif

I just wonder how much Justin will be selling, I can't see it doing as much as Despacito was but I bet it'll be doing >80k for at least a few weeks... it'd be nice if Taylor and Justin released at the same time so we'd at least have a bit of a battle on our hands.

If it's Justin Bieber ft. Bloodpop then I can see it clearing 100K, regardless of how it sounds.

Then I can see Taylor easily doing 100k if she's on Spotify, which is highly likely. Actually, she could do a Katy Perry if the song is poor.

Realistically, I think Justin will be there for a long time, maybe 10+ weeks sad.gif.

Yeah I wouldn't be surprised about Justin blocking Taylor.

How do we think Little Mix & CNCO will do, and Sam Smith? Both of which are out within the next couple of weeks.

I think they're taking the first half of 2018 off, so you'll get a bit of a break from their talent, don't worry! They are risking overexposure for sure, although they've done no TV performances this year at all apart from Brits, it's just songs on the radio.

CNCO are a latin boyband, the song they're doing with them already has 1 billion views on Youtube, and more streams on Spotify than any of their own song. I think it'll probably do better than Subeme La Radio, because there's more interest in Little Mix in the UK than any of the artists on that song.
