Noel and his birds are back, new single 'Holy Mountain' landing on the same week as Liam's album (what a coincidence ) the single is quite a shift in direction but there's no denying how vibrant and infectious it is, officially jamming (also the copying of ricky martin's "she bangs" in the chorus is highly amusing) 1 Fort Knox 2 Holy Mountain 3 Keep On Reaching 4 It's a Beautiful World 5 She Taught Me How To Fly 6 Be Careful What You Wish For 7 Black & White Sunshine 8 Interlude (Wednesday Pt. 1) 9 If Love Is the Law 10 The Man Who Built the Moon 11 End Credits (Wednesday Pt. 2) |

Yass I love Noel's solo stuff. Definitely the talent of the band (although tbf what I've heard of Liam's so far is fairly decent- Wall Of Glass sounded better than most of Beady Eye's stuff ). Absolutely adored the self titled debut and Chasing Yesterday was a fantastic album too, will be looking into this. On my first listen of it and Holy Mountain sounds good so far!

Absolutely wowed by Holy Mountain on first listen! What an absolute tune! Nothing he'll ever do will live up to the Oasis classics for me but I've really liked both of Noel's solo albums so far, and based on Holy Mountain, 'Who Built The Moon?' is going to be just as good

Suppose it's like saying Paul McCartneys 80s releases are better than his Beatles heyday - it'll never pass, just shows how huge they are!

Reminds me of The Vaccines! It's a bit of a bop but I don't know if I'll be returning to it a lot yet.

It does rather sound like She Bangs at the end But it's still pretty great, always love Noel's solo releases.

Good news! I hope it’s better than WBTM which is his weakest solo effort imo!
