Eh, maybe he's the next Mbappe haha.
Excited for Chelsea in the fourth round, they'll be out for revenge & we'll be massive underdogs most likely which should actually suit us. |

Interesting stat I read, this is the first time in the competition's 59-year history there are no teams from the second tier in the fourth round!

I was expecting them to get Crawley or Colchester tbh.
(But it is a bit sketchy that they always put the other big teams against each year, happened in the FA Cup last year too). This post has been edited by dobbo: 25th September 2019, 10:47 PM |

It's strange to see so many Premier League teams through tbh! Shame to see Liverpool, Chelsea, Utd and Arsenal all drawn together, I do think this competition is a really good cup to win but it definitely loses it's edge when you have the likes of Man City vs Burton as a semi final. |

Colchester United beating Tottenham on penalties that was certainly a surprise. Thought Spurs would fancy this as a chance of silverware.
Ended up being 4-0 to Oxford United against West Ham. |

Absolutely stunning free kick from Rashford to win the match against Chelsea and a 10 goal thriller between Liverpool and Arsenal!

Don't know why commentators complained so much about Rashford when united were on a bad run - he's prob your best player and on his day can do what he did last night. |

His problem is he is not consistent. He goes through purple patches but then won't score for 10 games. He looks better with Martial, which I suspect is because it takes a lot of the weight off of him. There is a good player in there, but imo he is not a centre forward, I think he is so much better out wide. |

Finished 5-0! Reminds me of when you have a cup match in career mode on FIFA and you decide to field your weakest squad before simulating the match.

We were very unlucky not to score and save for some obvious experience in finishing and some naivety at the back it would have been a lot closer. |

I really don't understand some of the flack Klopp is getting, he literally had no choice. The ridiculous fixture scheduling has caused this scenario, and it makes absolutely perfect sense to prioritise the Club World Cup. The only downside will be how much it affects these kids' morale but with all factors considered it'll do them worlds of good to play in a pretty high-stakes match!
Joke IS on Klopp if he doesn't win the other cup tho hehe. |

I guess with the Club World Cup the opportuntity only comes around when you win the Champions League. We could have easily played the League Cup game in January, but if anything it just shows you how many games we have. Will see how it affects morale, but we didn't even play badly. I think if we had a Brewster/Jones playing we'd have at least scored. I can only see a handful of the players that played tonight making it at the top level anyway (Elliot and Hoever). |

Again what could Klopp do? Daft scheduling there. Yes a scoreline that will only flatter Aston Villa. I saw that #KloppOut was trending. Seriously?

What was the 11?
Would like to see a Sheff United or Villa win the cup, anyone but a top 6 side. |
