Ethanola become no strangers to our bronze position - as this is the third time they have received 13 points from us this year! The whacky and #longsongbloc winner 'Free Tibet' was the first of those and was then followed by the subtle beauty of last month's 'I Waited For You'! This month they return back to the #longsongbloc with 11 wonderful minutes of 'Mutter'. I am always one for a well produced instrumental and frankly this did not feel as long as the duration suggested. There were enough subtle switch-ups throughout to keep me interested. One of my favourite dance countries of the moment!

A brilliant song accompanied by cats in the music video, what more could you want?! *.* This instantly caught my attention in the semis as it really stood out as being interesting and beautifully produced. I gave it 8 points in semi 2 and it retained my love and then some as it was even better with a repeated listen. Congrats Fljótavík as we award you a medal position for the first time.

I haven't actually heard the song that Quintessa were originally vetoed with BUT I am so glad that it instead gave them the chance to send this. What an absolutely glorious entry! For starters it's really interesting that the song is sung in Welsh, I feel like I haven't heard many Welsh language songs. This one is such an incredibly standout and gripping entry. The vocals are fascinating and the production is pretty damn good as well. This entry is just so wonderfully unique and for that I applaud you. Congrats Quintessa for receiving an 18 from us for the first time (just missing out before with two 15s last year!)
