Cozy is a highlight of RENAISSANCE for me too, glad it's made your top 100! Missing You is nice too, I love SG Lewis but haven't been as obsessed with his recent releases.
From just outside the top 100 - Labyrinth is a gorgeous track, one of my favourites from Midnights  while I never charted Bad Thing Twice, it came on shuffle for me the other day and I released how great it is.

86 NEIKED, Mae Muller & Polo G - Better Days | 166 points

It seems there was a lot of forgettable music released last year and this is just another one to add to the pile of trash I charted. 87 Ed Sheeran & Taylor Swift - The Joker & The Queen | 166 points 2022 Chart Run • 18-13-19-22-24-26-25-34-34-39 | 10 wks This track is alright. At best. It's the worst of both artists for me style wise. As good as it did on my chart to end this high on my EOY that was more to do with the hype of new Taylor and ED music. 88 Grimes - Shinigami Eyes | 164 points 2022 Chart Run • 38-31-30-12-09-05-06-09-33-38 | 10 wks This is a banger. Grimes has always been a bit hit or miss for me but this one was fantastic. I actually think there is another Grimes track still to come. Almost positive actually. 89 Sigala - Melody | 164 points 2022 Chart Run • 30-20-12-04-08-18-31 | 7 wks Talk about a slap in the face. I have no memory of this song. I remember the title and that's it and for this to have beated Eliza when I don't even remember the song itself should say all I need it to say. Stumped. 90 Eliza Rose & Interplanetary Criminal - B.O.T.A. (Baddest Of Them All) | 161 points 2022 Chart Run • 31-17-16-12-14-31-24-30-36-38 | 10 wks Now don't get me wrong, I'm shocked at how low this is on my EOY but I remember how bored I got of this as the year went on. It was a nice change for the official chart though and hopefully this break through hit can lead to more for both artists next year! |

2022 Chart Run 29-19-08-11-12-15-30-34-39 | 9 wks I had hoped this would chart officially and become a hit but this was one of the worse samples to come out of last year. It really was the year of samples but there were better ones around the corner. 82 Luude & Mattafix - Big City Life | 172 points 2022 Chart Run 34-19-15-07-07-16-24-36-39 | 9 wks Big City Life should have been one of the biggest smash of all smashes on the chart this year but it fell quite quickly didn't it? Unless I'm forgetting something. 83 Charlie Puth - Light Switch | 170 points 2022 Chart Run 27-27-19-13-17-20-19-28-31-39 | 10 wks I do not claim in any way, shape or form, to be a Charlie Puth fan but this one is great. Unfortunately it was blocked from the top 10 during a competitive week and never recovered. 84 Beyoncι - Energy | 167 points 2022 Chart Run 26-16-10-09-13-27-31-39 | 8 wks Energy is another highlight from the album for me. An absolute bop! I am hyped for another album next year from Bey provided she gives us a part 2 from renaissance. There are still 4 tracks to come from the album. Can you guess what order they come in? 85 Ariana & The Rose - Setting Me Free | 166 points 2022 Chart Run 31-22-17-12-11-17-22-33-38 | 9 wks This is the last Ariana & The Rose track to grace my chart for the year but with how much they're doing I reckon they'll be back next year with some stompers. Setting Me Free was more of the same from them as usual but it has a nice message and video. |

The music is on point but the world has moved on. Sadly. Plus, she's probably a clone anyway. 77 Coldplay & Selena Gomez - Let Somebody Go | 175 points 2022 Chart Run • 10-12-14-17-19-22-27-36-37 | 9 wks The only and last song for Coldplay and the latter for Selena. She'll have two on my EOY next year, maybe more if she's staging a comeback though I don't reckon that's what's happening. This song was decent but not really knock your socks off spectacular. 78 Tom Grennan - Remind Me | 175 points 2022 Chart Run • 38-31-19-16-13-11-21-30-30-37-40 | 11 wks Tom Grennan always released music that sounds the same. I don't really know what else to say to be honest! 79 Flume & Caroline Polachek - Sirens | 173 points 2022 Chart Run • 31-24-15-16-19-16-20-24-33-39 | 10 wks I'm dissapointed at where this has placed on my EOY. just thinking about it there as I put in the chart run and it really underperformed for me although 10 weeks on chart isn't too bad. She's just released a new single which unfortunately won't be on this EOY but it will make quite a high appearance next year. 80 Alesso & Katy Perry - When I'm Gone | 173 points 2022 Chart Run • 05-08-12-16-17-27-32-38 | 8 wks The last Katy Perry song on my EOY. Possibly my only one? 2021 was supposed to be the comeback year for her but it just didn't happen did it. It's such a shame to be honest and streaming has completely destroyed her selling power I feel. |

I liked this because it was much more subdued for Becky Hill without losing that special something that made her music instantly recognisable. 72 Kate Bush - Running Up That Hill (A Deal With God) | 179 points 2022 Chart run • 37-15-08-07-02-20-29-31 | 8 wks I don't really think I have to say anything about this song. It sounded as amazing now as it did back in the day and I couldn't be happier that another generation got to experience the wonder that it is. The power of TV shows and apps like Tiktok on streaming is so fascinating and leads to some unexpected results on the official chart. It's fantastic. 73 Maisie Peters - Cate's Brother | 179 points 2022 Chart Run • 36-25-12-11-08-12-25-24-37 | 9 wks Now much like a couple of other songs I charted, looking back on this one, I wish I could forget it. It's so American teeny bopper that I don't even know why I gave it a chance but clearly I did like it enough at the time. 74 Fred Again.. - Danielle (Smile On My Face) | 177 points 2022 Chart Run • 35-21-12-09-17-16-20-21 | 8 wks This one was quite similar to B.O.T.A. for me though not quite as big although clearly I enjoyed this one more. This was my first dealing with Fred Again.. having listened to their album, I can firmy say I'm somewhat of a fan! 75 Taylor Swift - Anti-Hero | 176 points 2022 Chart Run • 16-08-03-01-01 | 5 wks Unfortunately for Taylor she's only this low because she released this song so late in the year but I have a hankering she'll be doing well on next year's chart. This is her highest song here and it's already currently #1 on my EOY for next year so look out for that one. |

2022 Chart Run 21-15-13-08-16-20-22-27 | 8 wks This was a fantastic comeback for Sky but alas I've not really heard much more from her since then though for all I know she's released a whole goddamn album since then. My first interaction with Sky was with her song called 'One' which is still a pleasure to listen to, to this day. 67 Mabel, Jax Jones & Galantis - Good Luck | 184 points 2022 Chart Run 35-26-14-07-08-10-19-35-34-38 | 10 wks I don't actually really remember this one off the top of my head but I don't feel that Mabel exactly had a massive year in 2022. 68 Lauren Spencer-Smith - Flowers | 183 points 2022 Chart Run 26-18-06-03-11-18-32-34-38 | 9 wks I really loved this at one point this year but this is in the selection that I'd love to forget now. 69 Tove Lo - Grapefruit | 182 points 2022 Chart Run 19-11-09-05-06-14 | 6 wks One of the casualties of the Christmas entries this year which haven't been included in the EOY for obvious reasons. This has now been replaylisted and should chart in next year's EOY as well. It would have been amazing 2nd single after no one dies from love, which is still to come. 70 Jessie Ware - Free Yourself | 182 points 2022 Chart Run 23-16-06-05-07-22-30-37 | 8 wks I've actually been waiting on the next single and I'm fed up waiting. Unfortunately I didn't enjoy this anywhere near as much as save a kiss which remains my favourite song from Jessie during her career. |

2022 Chart Run 37-30-20-18-18-25-22-16-20-27-32-32-38 | 13 wks Now this was a bop and a half when I heard it but I got tired of it pretty quickly resulting in a peak of #16 which was unfortunate. Tove also had a great year on my chart and she has more tracks to come. 62 Florence + The Machine - Free | 196 points 2022 Chart Run 31-24-22-27-22-19-16-14-13-21-22 | 11 wks Florence had a bumper year on my chart and there are at least one more track to come from her on my end of year. This album was fantastic and in glad to have been able to enjoy what she put out this year. 63 Rita Ora & Netsky - Barricades | 190 points 2022 Chart Run 23-08-02-03-07-19-37 | 7 wks This was a lovely comeback for Rita Ora though completely unexpected. It was a new style for her? And it worked reasonably well. Unfortunately it didn't translate to charts success though. 64 Dylan - Girl Of Your Dreams | 190 points 2022 Chart Run 34-28-14-14-13-17-27-23-23-32-36 | 11 wks This is another bargain bin American teeny bopper track I could do with forgetting. It's just so American pop that I can no longer stand it. I feel like the chart was infused by a lot of these sort of tracks this year. 65 Clean Bandit & A7S - Everything But You | 190 points 2022 Chart Run 16-24-17-20-25-21-21-25-27-32-34-40 | 12 wks Another one I don't really remember too much of but this was chatting at the beginning of the year, so it's no wonder. |

I feel like I've said every song on her album was a standout but that's just testament to how good the album is. 57 Halsey - So Good | 202 points 2022 Chart Run 32-18-10-05-07-07-06 | 7 wks This was an extremely late charter for me and suffered because of Christmas songs entering but it's also been replaylisted now. A lovely song and if memory serves me correctly, the first ever Halsey song to be charted by me. 58 Carly Rae Jepsen - Talking To Yourself | 201 points 2022 Chart Run 37-18-07-09-03-10-20-29-35 | 9 wks This is Carlys second highest entry on my EOY and the highest one only got where it is because of a slooooow climb up the chart and it's now seeing a ressurgence. She's actually just released surrender my heart which will be featured on my EOY for next year. I was actually quite dissapointed by this album but it's grown on me since release. 59 Florence + The Machine - My Love | 201 points 2022 Chart Run 33-29-22-10-10-14-14-23 | 8 wks This was actually the highest charting song on my EOY by Florence. I do hope she returns next year because a pt.ii would be very welcome. 60 Lizzo - 2 Be Loved (Am I Ready) | 200 points 2022 Chart Run 33-32-27-22-20-14-15-15-16-17 | 10 wks This is without a doubt Lizzo's best song and I've seen that proclaimed as such multiple times but different posters on Buzzjack. I'm glad we can all agree on that. Good night. |

Don't Forget was a brilliant comeback from Sky - don't worry you haven't missed an album, knowing her I don't imagine we'll get anything until 2030
Anti-Hero was of course a very welcome smash. I absolutely LOVED Free Yourself, it's one of my favourite Jessie tracks! Like you said, I think we're overdue the next single. And finally Talking To Yourself is a massive bop <3

When I'm Gone sounded so promising for Katy Perry that it was actually a song that Katy Perry said goodbye to the pop industry
except a brief comeback with "Did Somebody Say Just Eat" Great to see Free Yourself too. It was everywhere on pop music forums and discussions but it was nowhere to be seen on mainstream charts. It really sounds like a hit so I was baffled it didn't go viral, and even more baffled that people didn't expect it to go viral.

It was everywhere on pop music forums and discussions but it was nowhere to be seen on mainstream charts. It really sounds like a hit so I was baffled it didn't go viral, and even more baffled that people didn't expect it to go viral. Yeah I agree. I've no idea why she f***ed off after it because it would have been a decent start to stage a comeback. Free yourself never sounded like an obvious smash to me. She needs another 'save a kiss". It's the last song she performs on tour and the crowd loves it. Come on, give us what we want! |

I felt truly spoilt during its release week with both that and Halsey's If I Can't Have Love, I Want Power album dropping on the same day, both great and 'Asking For A Friend' definitely remains a standout amongst many others on Screen Violence. Fab to see so much Beyoncι domination so far already! 'CHURCH GIRL' and 'ALL UP IN YOUR MIND' both feel underrated so I'm especially pleased to see those here. I did hope Tove Lo would shine here and I haven't been disappointed so far both '2 Die 4' and 'Grapefruit' were growers for me, a juxtaposition of a pairing really as the former is good fun and the latter hard-hitting. Both have standout synths in common though *.*The Kate Bush revival is certainly one of my favourite chart stories of the year too. What an absolute classic, I definitely have faith in the taste of today's kids after that We of course have Midnights appreciation in common too. I was a massive fan of the folklore and evermore back-to-back, yet she casually drops a lead single, Anti-Hero', that I think I like even more than 'cardigan' and 'willow', as gorgeous as both of those are too. Her power! Very happy that a Taylor and Lana collab lived up to my expectations too. <3 Enjoying the commentary so far! It really cracked me up when you bluntly said words to the effect of "I don't remember this song" about some of them lower down
