The video is now out : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AJtDXIazrMo

Where do you think it will chart?

Posted by: mr_aly Jan 23 2015, 07:24 AM

It's an easy number one, I can see it doing north of 130k first week as well.

Posted by: Mango Jan 23 2015, 09:45 AM

Can't see it missing Number 1.

Posted by: Mart!n Jan 23 2015, 09:51 AM

Can't see this missing #1, and whoever voted flop should be named. happy.gif over 100k

Posted by: Jonjo Jan 23 2015, 10:05 AM

Think: Number 1
Want: Number 1
Sales: 123k+ (So I voted for >100k - <125k)

Tbf they only voted they *wanted* it to flop, not that it actually would flop.

Flop was me..
Ellie Ghoul

She annoys me so much laugh.gif

But she's so gorgeous! wub.gif

Posted by: titty Jan 23 2015, 11:33 AM

Gorgeous???

I think we understand that word differently. wink.gif

Posted by: April Jan 23 2015, 11:38 AM

#1 definitely with around 125-130k sold (including streams).

Posted by: Mango Jan 23 2015, 11:38 AM

She is an attractive young lady, I don't think anyone can deny that!

Posted by: merrim01 Jan 23 2015, 11:52 AM

Yea will be an easy number 1 and the first to topple Mark Ronson I suspect.

Yes, Dougie 'McFly' is one lucky guy!

He might be, but I also think Ellie is one lucky lady angel.gif

Both think and want #1, and think it'll sell within 100k-125k somewhere, could be anywhere depending on its streams really.

Posted by: Liаm Jan 23 2015, 01:47 PM

She is stunning beyond belief wub.gif My straight crush laugh.gif

Definitely #1 for both.

Posted by: SevenSeize Jan 23 2015, 02:03 PM

#1, probably on 1st week sales of like 140-150k

Posted by: vidcapper Jan 23 2015, 02:33 PM

I see someone predicted 6-10, yet still picked 50-75k sales - must be expecting a very big sales week... laugh.gif

Posted by: SPINUMINATI ADAM Jan 23 2015, 04:47 PM

#1 is obvious biggrin.gif

#1 is deserved wub.gif

150k is possibly a bit ambitious even though I voted it but whatever she sells she deserves it. A great track after UpTown Funk too biggrin.gif cheer.gif

Perhaps a different person voted each? laugh.gif

Posted by: Dobbo Jan 23 2015, 06:27 PM

With no other real threats that release week (plus the month-long hype) it's a surefire #1.

However in my ideal world it'd peak at #3 behind Gravity & I'm An Albatraoz from preceding weeks.

Sales? 166k

Posted by: Insomnio Jan 23 2015, 08:14 PM

I think that it will be No.1 in U.k!
I want it to be No.1 in U.k!
Its first week sales will be between >100k <125k!

Want: #1
Sales: 123k

Posted by: Rob S Jan 23 2015, 08:27 PM

Think : Number #1
Want : Number #1
Sales : 132K

This is already one of her best for me, so deserves to be huge!

Posted by: Blank Slayberry Jan 23 2015, 08:35 PM

Think: #1. It's perfect considering the release for 50 Shades Of Grey. Also, I doubt "Something New" will be any kind of competition.
Want: #1 so Ellie can get that second #1
Sales Predictions: I'd say in between 113-129k.

Ellie has a decent track record with the UK, so I'm expecting big from her.

think; obvious #1
want; low top 10 hit but that clearly won't happen, it's yet to massively grow on me but i don't dislike it
sales; 100k+

Posted by: ETH▲N Jan 24 2015, 07:51 PM

think ~ #1
want ~ mid to low top 10
sales ~ 212k <-- if brought forward for Valentines week

Posted by: GTH Jan 24 2015, 08:47 PM

I put #1 as expected peak, but 4-5 as the peak i would rather it reached. Not a massive fan of the song and would rather Uptown Funk got the extra weeks as we haven't had a long running number one in ages! think it's sales will be between 75-100k for first week (expecting around 90k).

Posted by: harryflynn0908 Jan 24 2015, 08:53 PM

I think and Want number 1 I love the song and her she is so talented wub.gif

Posted by: James1987 Jan 24 2015, 09:59 PM

Number 1 on both for me, I think it's sales could climb upwards of 125k potentially though this could be overly optimistic!

If nothing deposes UF before then, it would have had 9 weeks at the top, which certainly qualifies it, regardless of what Ellie's song does!

Posted by: vibe Jan 25 2015, 10:21 AM

I don't understand the huge love for this song.

It's going to do great tho !!!

I predict number 1!

Posted by: vidcapper Jan 29 2015, 03:42 PM

Just realised I haven't given my own prediction! tongue.gif

#1 both categories, and >150k

Posted by: Paramore Jan 30 2015, 05:30 PM

Think #1
Want Between 5-10
Sales 120k

I don't get why people are lapping this up when Beating Heart was practically the same thing and was largely ignored. Also it has that line 'I'll let you set the pace', which sounds like its out of fanfic, but it is a 50 shades song so...

Posted by: Doctor Blind Jan 30 2015, 05:49 PM

#1, I would like it to peak 6-10 because it isn't anywhere near Ellie's best and I reckon it will do 108K out of the blocks next week.

Posted by: ML Hammer95 Jan 30 2015, 05:53 PM

Would rather Uptown Funk stayed at #1 tbh (won't happen sadly). Sounds quite mediocre.

Posted by: Jonjo Jan 31 2015, 01:10 PM

With this being released 2 weeks early, I'm really intrigued to see it's sales run. Over 100k for three weeks at least, with a spike towards the end of her 2nd week/ready for her 3rd (as the film is released)?

Good. It's had its time at #1. 7 weeks is too much and it needs to move over and give the #1 to somebody else

I didn't know it was being released early - where did you hear that?

On iTunes

Think: #1
Want: #1
Sales: 123,400 (or something like that)

I think it's a great song. My favourite song of 2015 so far (it's only been a month though).

Yes, as Fifty Shades Of Grey is released on February 13 (so the last two days of week 2)

Posted by: slowdown73 Feb 1 2015, 05:06 PM

Its very obvious this is going to be a pretty big hit. It's gone to no1 on iTunes very quickly. I expect it to sell over 100k in the first week and is likely to spend a few weeks at the top too. Its a good song too.

Sales: 121k

Sales: Over 150k
