Yay! It's good to be taking part again after my brief break and what a batch of entries to come back to. It made perfect sense to go with this theme given the success this type of music is having in charts around the world.

With that being said, I expected more 90's Eurodance known names to be participating especially after I saw Urban Cookie Collective vetoed earlier but excited none the less to listen to all the entries <3

For example, I had considered two artists for this which are one and the same - Ferry Corsten and Gouryella, but I decided against it, but I knew they were both the same artist under different names, it is not always so obvious in other cases though. But well picked out anyway! I guess we could do with an extra set of eyes on the veto panel!

I think Cow P would've genuinely been the only person to spot that! I'm not clued up on my Trance history so wouldn't have for one second even clicked on that any of those were the same people. It's a fair point to make and perhaps something to consider for veto research moving forward that we do a bit of a deeper dive into artist history but for now we shall continue as is with this contest

An innocent oversight I'm sure, very well spotted though. This happened in BJSC last year too with Paul Seul and ascendant vierge (which is 50% Paul Seul, although apparently he goes by the name of Paul Orzoni now...) in the same contest.

yeah completely passed me by the possibility that there’d be producer aliases cropping up, our veto process is mostly checking the song itself fits the theme and isn’t too well known. given in this case they’re just the remixers here it’s not that big a deal
anyhow. |

Would have had no idea.
my personal opinion is that aliases and remixes go a bit beyond what the no duplicate artists rule is meant to stop anyway, it has happened a few times in BJSC in the past |
