Just a little bit of extra info for the time been Rita Ora & Chris Brown are outside the 40, at #50 Not surprised, such a forgettable song. Had the potential to be great too, but I bet the video will push it back up (as they'll play on the will-they-won't-they factor ). |

If Jess goes to #1 on Friday, she'll be the latest artist to score three #1s in the same year, the last being Pharrell who achieved the feat in 2013

At this point I think Jess Glynne is definitely going to number one. It's got a 20% lead, Charlie and Meghan don't have that much of a streaming advantage, and How Deep Is Your Love is too far behind on sales. Also, Marvin Gaye's lead over How Deep Is Your Love increased from 31,000 on Monday to just under 36,000 on the final whistle (although they had a slightly bigger lead on Calvin (0.5400 against 0.6100)), so I am positive How Deep Is Your Love will not overtake Don't Be So Hard On Yourself.
As for Marvin Gaye, that is currently at #11 on Spotify with 158,837 daily plays, which amounts to 635,348 streams for the next four days. Being at #55, Don't Be So Hard On Yourself's streams on Spotify were likely in the ballpark of 65,000, since the #50 usually is in the ballpark of 70,000. If this number is correct, it would mean 260,000 streams for the next four days, but they are likely to be much higher. Taking this into account, Charlie Puth would get 375,348 streams more than Jess Glynne for the next four days; the difference is likely to be lower. 375,348 streams equal to 3,753 chart sales, which taken away from the current 5,800 lead would leave Don't Be So Hard On Yourself with a lead of just over 2,000 chart sales, and we must of course take into account that Jess Glynne will more likely than not sell more than Charlie Puth over the next four days. So I would say Jess Glynne is safe for number one. |

I think the number 1 single (Jess or Charlie Puth) won't sell more than 65k this week.

I can't see that lead being enough for Jess unfortunately, I can see Charlie and Meghan getting to #1 quite comfortably!

looking good for queen jess
the only curve ball is yesterday's missing spotify numbers ~ if 'don't be so hard on yourself' tails off during the week it could come under pressure from charlie puth and calvin harris... in such a slow week on the albums ~ surely a posthumous #1 for cilla is the most likely outcome from those contenders~ |

Which Avril album is it that's in the chart? (Sorry if it's been answered already, but I tried looking and don't think I saw a post which mentioned which album exactly )

Avril actually sold minus 1.5k yesterday somehow Former Avril fans out in force getting those albums refunded Seriously though, it must be some sort of computer glitch that's seeing this album chart, I'm surprised the OCC haven't looked into it further, I can't see anywhere that it's on sale, and even if it was 99p, I highly doubt it would be as high as it is. Most of the Google Play 99p albums are bonafide classics and even they rarely crack the top 20. |

OCC website has Hozier at 21 on album charts, can't see Avril anywhere Actually every album has moved up a place, looks like OCC had a later update. I remember in the past we had the odd later update with a few revisions. http://www.officialcharts.com/charts/albums-chart-update/ Obviously they realised Avril's position is a mistake the Album Update Chart is not even online |
